I was using the Steam app to play a game less than an hour ago, and I decided to play something else, but I needed to change the account. After trying to change the account, the Steam app just stopped opening. It won't get past the initial login stage in the picture; the app just closes. I've even tried reinstalling Steam, but nothing works; it's the same issue. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I know it's not a network issue either.
This is the 3rd post I have seen in the last 30 minutes. I bet the servers are having some problems. I would try waiting at least an hour just to see if it is you or the servers. Sorry bud
Unfortunately, it is not a server issue. My Windows auto-updated, and right before I tried logging in to my other account, I restarted my pc. So I honestly think that's what is causing this issue.
