Meta Vhs tape tutorial

Hello! Im not sure if this is the right flair to use but I was wondering if anyone has made a tutorial or would be willing to explain how to make the VHS style covers? I don't use photoshop but do use other editing. All of mine have come out looking really bad and I was hoping to get an idea how other people make theirs because im a little lost with it.

Many thanks in advance! <3

ntsc-rs is great for this, since it directly simulates an old analogue video signal.

I'd try and message someone who has uploaded one of the VHS style ones and ask if they have a template or guidance on how to make one. From what I've seen of them they all seem to use a template with partial transparent stock artwork to give it that cardboard look.

I used this template (https://www.steamgriddb.com/grid/709852) and the free version of Canva to make mine

What program are you using? You should be able to just remove the text with an eraser.
Make sure the Template is in it's own layer and then just mark the text and cut it out.
