As an FYI, if you buy this on GOG you also get the free full length mod/total conversion fallout: London. Not sure if you can mod the steam version the same way

Unless I'm mistaken steam should have a mod page for the game like people upload mods to steam and you just hit add.

Especially with the announced remaster, I doubt they will sell it cheaper then this.

Steam lowest on GOTY version (with all DLCs) was 1200 INR, it's 699 INR right now. I think this is a new massive historical low. Not sure though because steamdb doesn't show properly.

Nah, the lowest was 449 rupees but the last time it was at that price was in October 2025 and I doubt it will go that low again.

I think Fo3 and NV are getting remastered versions. Lots of drama with Asha Sharma, Bethesda and Obsidian.
A new Fo should also "potentially" should be in work but who knows.

That's just the anniversary edition, not a remaster. Anniversary edition has all the Creation Club items.

I have so much fun with this one up until the base building gag. Never got passed that part to this day. Is it worth pushing ahead a really unfun part of the game?

Base building is almost completely optional in this game.
IIRC, the only place where it's mandatory is one quest at the beginning and that quest takes like 10 minutes to complete. And that quest is only there to familiarize you with the mechanic of base building.

yes because it quickly becomes easier, you can also get mods if on PC that make building not dogshit

I tried to give this game another go recently in the hopes that I could avoid the atrocious writing and just have fun with the combat and exploration and I couldn’t even make it an hour once I realized the entire introduction is written for the male PC and if you’re a woman you just watch your husband do the plot

Get it on GOG instead if you want the New London mod, which is basically a new game with Fallout 4 and Fallout New Vegas writing. Same discount too.

i hate seeing this everytime it goes on sale. This game made me stop buying games at full price.
I bought the base game at full price when it was released. Thank god i didnt buy the season pass. I bought it again on playstation - goty edition on sale years later because its much cheaper than buying the dlc on steam. People who bought the season pass early expected to get all the future dlc but never did(they only got the existing dlc, didnot include all future dlc). I wanted to play this on pc again with the dlc but season pass(6 dlc) is more expensive than the full goty edition.
Current sale
Get the goty edition/skip aniversary edition - you dont need it.
