I’m new here and a new cat owner. He came to me… I was in a major transition in my life, had no intentions of getting a cat anytime soon. But here we are…almost a year later and he is the biggest blessing! Also a pain in the ass! This is Rocky Racoon and I’m Lisa. Sometimes he sits on the couch facing backwards. Weirdo.

my sister is allergic to cats, last time she pet a stray was in the 1980's I showed her this picture of (my) mom tux and her son she asked, "are they hugging?"

so i got the idea to make a gmail for my cat so she can respond to peoples emails!

Our orange cat Boe constantly acts like he has no brain except for when it comes to food.

So for context a few days ago a kitten just randomly showed up at my front porch and me and my roomate decided to adopt her. We live in the middle of nowhere so we didnt exactly wanna leave her in the road or drop her off at a pound. Luckily my roomate also works at a vet so we got her dewormed, flea medicine snd flea bath, etc. But ever since we took her in my other cat whos sbout 18 years old (hes a old boy but hes forever my baby) he started hissing at me and swiping st me but he will still let me pet him and pick him up but agter s few mins he eill hiss at me like he doesnt know me then hes back to normal right after. Is this normal behavior or did i do something im not aware of?
