Discussion Unusual spear

I got this in a mixed lot with no information, it's 2ft long and has alternating flat blades. I've never seen a spear like this before, does anyone have any info about it?

Whoever designed this...was making sure there was no way the other guy or animal would live through to tell the tale

I know, it's pretty brutal. I still haven't been able to find anything out about it yet but I feel like it's probably Indian.

Hiya could this spearhead be Malay in origin? I remember seeing a similar style of spear in the Terengganu state museum in Malaysia

If I could post Images I would

I have no idea tbh, I got it in a large mixed lot of spears from different places with no information. I've seen wavy Malaysian spears in a similar style to their Kris blades before but not alternating flats like on this one. My original instinct was that it could be Indian but I don't know so I'll have more of a look down the Malaysian route, thanks for the idea.
