UPDATE (OCT 2026): Never really thought i'd be coming back to update all of these years later, but I was watching a Smosh Reddit episode and it made me remember this one. It is so weird to look back on this post as i am a completly different person from when I wrote it. So much happened since I wrote this. Firstly, I ended up not being invited to the wedding PERIOD. All of our friends were sending photos of their invites in our group chat and i was the only one to not recieve one. I thought I was loosing my mind because she was texting about the wedding in this groupchat that im in with 5 people in total, so i assumed it was a mistake. But nope, just full blown nixxed. I was of course hurt at the time but I ultimetly knew it was for the best. I didnt leave the group chat until the day they got back from their honeymoon because she is very much the type to spread that I was trying to "ruin this time for her" if i had left it any sooner. I did get updates from members of her wedding party and apparently her and her now husband spent a portion of the wedding fighting with eachother. I also was not the only friendship she lost as a result of her wedding/her relationship. There are now three bridesmaids that are no longer friends with her anymore. Utlimently, leaving that group chat was the biggest weight lifted I had felt in a long time because it was symbolic of so much more. Letting go of a negative force in my life, allowing myself to thrive, and from that moment on only allowing friends in my life that build me up and that have as much love for me as I do for them. I may have her to thank for seeing what I never want my relationship to be like and keeping my standards high because of it, and now I am with the sweetest man in the world that shows me what real love and respect is. So if you needed that sign to let that toxic person go, wether it be a friend, family member, or partner. Take this as that sign. You dont realize the negative weight that a person like that puts on your life until you let it go.

hi! has anyone watched Eons on the PBS channel? if so, what are your favorite videos? everything looks very cool, i just don't know where to start!

I wanted to make a post lauding the videos this year where we go outside the office to film. Specifically, the Alveus Sanctuary and now the Alf Museum of Paleontology.

I'm ecstatic to see them getting out and putting cast in positions to learn and show off interesting topics and programs out there in the world. There's something inherently joyful about learning and giving Smosh, whether cast, crew, or the community, the opportunity to delve in. Frankly I hope they continue to produce this style of content going forward. As long and time and budget allows.

And of course, high praise to the experts who do what they do and give us a chance to see behind the curtain. I'm equally glad to see Smosh give these programs extra publicity.

For you, where's some dream place you'd hope they'd try and visit someday? Is there perhaps an activity, field of study, or job you'd like them to experience on camera? Any specific cast members you want to see do it?
