Hi! I had found a clutch of Florida leatherleaf slug eggs and they hatched yesterday. They were all looking pretty healthy. Today I check on them and majority of the babies have died, and they have strange swollen heads. I've never seen anything like this before, what could have caused it?? They were in a Tupperware with damp paper towels and veggies. Could it have been too much moisture, pesticides, disease, or a failed first molt? Some also have an engorged midsection rather than the head
Update: They have all died to mystery illness, unfortunately. I moved a few into terrariums to see if that would help, and as far as I can tell they all have the swollen head and do not move. I'd still like to hear if anyone has seen this or has any ideas!
