Product Question Controller for Chilipad 2.0 update stuck

Just got our Chilipad 2.0 order today and everything is set up, but I ran into some issues getting the wifi connected on the controller. Once it finally connected to wifi, it started updating, and has now been showing the update in progress screen for over an hour now. I’ve tried unplugging and plugging it back in but that didn’t seem to have an effect. it just got to this screen again and seemed to get stuck.

Anyone else run into this issue or have a fix? I searched the support site and the subreddit but couldn’t really find much about the new controller at all.

I had this issue. I brought the controller close to the router and it updated without issues. I ended up adding a node to my WiFi mesh network for better coverage as a long term solution as the controller would occasionally lose connectivity.

Thanks! looks like one of them updated while I was asleep lol. Will try this with the second one.

Edit: moving the other one closer started the upgrade almost immediately. Thank you again u/memarkg !
