I think Skulduggery Pleasant needs a bigger following in North America.

Haven't read Skullduggery in a few years since book 12 or 13 I believe. My favourite has always been the first 3 books, especially book 3 and book 1.

Fletcher Renn was also my favourite character cause we were the same age and everything.

So what's everyone's favourite Book? And why-not say your favourite character too.

Edit: "Just got the Skullduggery Pleasant book collection" totally didn't get it wrong on the title :)

I didn't like my previous Godkiller Sword design that much, and since the new SoW cover released with Matt Taylor's design for the Godkiller Sword I've been dying to merge it with my design because I just love his version so much!

• The sigils were carved into the Godkiller Sword by Mevolent to "claim" it for the Faceless Ones.
• Since on the Sow cover the guard reminds me a lot of spiderlegs, I made the parrying hook vaguely look like spider fangs.
• I added an aura to the sword for the simple reason that I wanna draw more FX and it looks cool. No basis in canon whatsoever.
• Mevolent has an overall pretty villainous design, and I like to throw in visual cues that are more hero-like because I see him as a fallen hero type villain who still thinks he's the hero of the story. Thus the blue fire. In my headcanon, he is also the only one that can wield blue fire, showing his extraordinary mastery over the elements. And yeah, I stole that from Azula (Avatar) and I'm not even ashamed of it because that show is peak.
• Given the hook-like shape at the tip, can you imagine some creature being stabbed with it, the tip hooking into its flesh and just the fountain of blood and gore spraying when Mevolent yanks the sword out again? Yeah, this thing was designed to kill Gods. Violently and painfully so.
