At the local

Did a kickflip at the top of umling la, india, the worlds highest road. This is the highest skateboarding ever done i recon and beats the guiness book of records by 100m. Ive seen that wrestler dude did a kickflip at everest camp 2, but that stationary shit in the mud doesnt count.

Battle is over, but the war has just begun. This trick is absolutely absurd and is no joke. I’m so happy I landed this 😤😤

I am a journalism student in NYC and used Street Violation data to make this map of where the sidewalk is essentially the shittiest to skate on. https://datawrapper.dwcdn.net/SPkMd/5/ . I was wondering if that is even really a thing in New York:

1. Do people actually skate on the sidewalk as either a form of transportation or just for fun, or do crowds make that difficult to do?
2. Are you excited for the new skateparks planned by Tony Hawk's Skatepark Project or is there any other location or something that you would prefer?
3. Are skateparks the main location people in NYC skate at?

(note: the circles on the map are where their currently are skateparks and later I want to add where the Skatepark Project plans to build their new parks).

Hey, just curious about y’all’s personal experiences with planar fasciitis. Does this shit just last forever? I’m going on like 3+ months dealing with this discomfort, I don’t even skate that often. It feels better when massaged well but always goes back to painful eventually even when I haven’t skated recently.

but ive been thinking about putting up posters in my university to look for some skilled skaters and actually host a tournament style game of skate with a winning prize + entry fee, vendors for funding

Yo! Going to be in Albany mid November for a work conference . Gonna be staying at a shitty hotel for 4 days straight getting my mind zapped by presentations from 9-5. Trying to avoid a relapse as much as possible haha so hoping to get out and de stress by skating after 5pm. Anyone know anywhere in Albany that has lights on at night? Was looking at blue banks on Google Maps and saw lights, but any word on if they’re any good during the winter?? Thanks a lot!
