With this Sea of Sorrow Achievements will not be considered part of the base game, at least that is what I think, and people will be able to complete 100% of the base game without touching the DLCs if they want to do so.

I mean, I get bringing back some enemies, but all three of them? That being said, it seems they're only exclusive to the new mode. Nice mode, in my opinion, it's a different kind of hard compared to steel soul. Who knows, there might be a new ending for this one.

HOW DO THEY ONLY HAVE 8k SUBS?!

I'd like hints that specify in what areas I have to search in, alongside what specific parts of that area (i.e North-west of the bench area in Wormways or something like that).

(It shouldn't also surprise me the entry to the left of the large lifeblood wormway enemy is a boss)

Video description:

Face the Beastmaster and Trapmaster within the scorching fields of Pharloom, along with many more challenges in Hollow Knight: Silksoul, a free upcoming mod for Silksong! Discover cool interactions and face upgraded foes in lethal, acrobatic combat as you ascend to the peak of a promised land ruled by silk and song.

FAQ:

• What is Silksoul about?

Silksoul is an upcoming mod for Hollow Knight: Silksong that attempts to bring back the world of Pharloom to its state during early 2021 development. Cut areas like the Red Coral Gorge and The Gloom will return, with areas like Hunter's March (Hunters' Nest) being adjusted to align with the April 2021 map and known cut content. Cut mechanics will also be reintroduced. In addition to reviving cut content, the game's difficulty will be increased, through changes like boss buffs, and all-new content like new interactions will also be implemented to deliver a fresh take on the game, offering a "B-Side" to Silksong for returning players.

• This mod is massive in scope, when will it come out and will it even reach the end of development?

Stay tuned for 2032 to see how this turns out!

Jokes aside, while there is absolutely no way to predict any potential release windows, progress on the mod is going much, much more smoothly than initially expected. Currently we are close to being done with Act 1. Since we are working on this completely on our own spare time, we are able to avoid burnouts, but progress can halt.

Our biggest issue will actually be the release of DLCs, due to the changes in the Silksong Unity project.

• Why are you making this mod?

A lot of our team members have been waiting for Silksong for many years, getting excited over areas like the Red Coral Gorge and Hunters' Nest. Some of these areas, in our opinion, could have been given more justice, especially the ants! And well, it's fun to develop stuff, especially when Team Cherry left assets for these areas in the files.

• What are you using to make this mod?

We are using Unity and Playmaker.

• Why is the mod called Silksoul?

The name "Silksoul" is a reference to the cut game-mode "Silk Soul", which was closely tied to 2021-era mechanics. This mod will not bring this game-mode back, due to the lack of information regarding it.

• What about Steel Soul?

Right now, the plan is to keep Steel Soul mode as an optional challenge that is available to play. However, due to the lack of a Steel Soul mode in 2021, we will not be adding the exclusive quest. This may be changed with the release of a potential Steel Assassins DLC.

• What about Act 3?

Silksoul will not implement Act 3 and the Void in the main mod. This will be something that is tackled in a way future update. We like to call this update Silksoul+. There is not much to say about this yet due to potential spoilers and lack of planning regarding it, but Silksoul will be fully playable without Act 3.

• Can I join the team?

We are currently not looking for more people, however we might need sound effect help. Join the Discord to be updated on that.

Thank you so much for all the support, this trailer is the culmination of months of work and something we were unable to do with our initial trailer. We hope you enjoy.

Day 154: pet flamingo - u/Kafei_is_on_the_moon (2)

I found this Karmelita Skin on bilibli bc I was looking for a cool silksong skin, and lowkey the majority of the current silksong skins SUCK (complete offense to the people who just recolor hornet) , other than like the wisp skin and thats too overused. I understand that making silksong skins is EXTREMELY difficult, but I hope that some cool skins come out eventually. Uh anyway this is the skin:
