Ive been using mods to play silksong via cogfly and everything worked well, but now when i try to launch via steam it doesnt have mods. When i try to launch via cogfly it does give me mods. Idk why it doesnt give me mods when i try to launch via steam. I feel lile ive tried everything. Can anyone help?

An ad for silksong has popped on my screen this making me have one and very accurate conclusion of silksong sea of sorrow release

I'd like hints that specify in what areas I have to search in, alongside what specific parts of that area (i.e North-west of the bench area in Wormways or something like that).

(It shouldn't also surprise me the entry to the left of the large lifeblood wormway enemy is a boss)

WTH is Sea of Sorrow's problem?!?! I could understand 7 years wait of Silksong, like ok, It's a whole separate game, I got it. But where the hell is atleast 1 DLC?!?! It was in development far more than just one year, there was already made out locs, rooms, npcs and stuff back in 2021-2025 maps. And with all that, still nothing.

I like Silkposts, Silksanity and all but try to announce dlc at least 2-3 month before releasing it. I just don't get what was the point of announcing, setting a date of 2026 and than, most likely, delaying it to 2027... I'm so pissed off, I can't take it anymore!

I'm already losing all hype for Sea of Sorrow, and if we are getting multiple DLCs, we'll be waiting for the next one for another year or two?? I'm thinking, what if It'll be 2-3 hour long and that's it, what if won't be worth the wait, what if idk. I just wanted to come out with all my thoughts on whole SoS situation.......

maybe I'm impatient, disrespectful or just inflating expectations. But I truly love this game and can't stop thinking about it.. Out of boredness I've been contantly replaying it on 100%, deleting save and replaying again, atleast 9 times..... and still want to replay it once more but now it feels so small... I

Too much yapping, that's it, idk how to finish this post

Day 154: pet flamingo - u/Kafei_is_on_the_moon (2)

i did more art of him but uh... its not safe for work.. but this is safe tho!!!

It only happens when moving hornet, and it just looks like a slightly offset projection of set pieces, and seemingly only when scrolling across the room while moving through

Just made it to the citadel after about 1 hour and 40 minutes. What is the best way to go for the melodies? I still need to take out Cogwork dancers, but that shouldn't be an issue. Should I just be immediately rushing clawline? Presumably, I also want to save High Halls for last

for me personally its the First Sinner, it was by far the most fun I had in a boss fight

I found this Karmelita Skin on bilibli bc I was looking for a cool silksong skin, and lowkey the majority of the current silksong skins SUCK (complete offense to the people who just recolor hornet) , other than like the wisp skin and thats too overused. I understand that making silksong skins is EXTREMELY difficult, but I hope that some cool skins come out eventually. Uh anyway this is the skin:

i an gonna deal with the fking savage beast fly

With this Sea of Sorrow Achievements will not be considered part of the base game, at least that is what I think, and people will be able to complete 100% of the base game without touching the DLCs if they want to do so.

What are we most hoping to see in the Sea of Sorrow dlc if it ever comes out? Stuff I’ve been considering would be:

A new area in some of the gaps on the map

Godhome mode PLEASE

Generally new tools and content items

What do you guys think will be in Sea of Sorrow, and what are you most hoping for?

Sidenotes:

I have gotten every memento, every wish, and 100% save completion. I didn't do steel soul, speedruns, or the secret ending.

Yes they are organized left to right, as in more to the left harder they are.

I am basing these off of when I first fought the boss, on repeat attempts, bosses like Trobbio and Savage Beastfly 2 only took me one attempt. While I can admit some bosses may be harder for others, this is where I would rank them based on my # of attempts, and what you have access to when you fight them.

I know my Seth and Karmelita placements might be controversial so I'll explain:

By the time I reached act 3 for the first time and started using the shaman crest, I could tap into a gaming flow state pretty easily. Cross stitch, pale nails, threadstorm, volt filament, shaman crest, weavelight, injector band, that was my build for the majority of act 3 including LL.

Seth's attacks are very easy to time cross stitch on, at least for me, he only took me two attempts. Karmelita took me about 15-20 tries, she was tough but getting into the flow state in her fight was very fun. Learning her attacks was kind of addicitve and by the time I beat her I was just sad, I didn't want the fight to be over yet. Beastfly 2 took me 35-50+ tries when I first fought him, Idc if I can first try him now, that boss made me drop the game when it released.

I haven't played any metroidvania type games up until two months ago when I stumbled into prince of persia the lost crown and I absolutely loved it. I could not believe how much fun I was having playing that game

After finishing it started playing Hollow Knight and I enjoyed it even more!

After that I started playing Silksong and I enjoyed the first part of it. I enjoyed the fact that it was much harder than HK but.. if the bosses are 3-4-5x harder than HK, why do I have to run a 1 min platforming section each time I fail to kill a boss? When I saw the platforming section I had to do over and over while trying to defeat The Last Judge, I couldn't believe it but I shrugged it off thinking its just this one time.

Now I'm trying to defeat a boss in the Sands of Karak and as a casual player, that boss kills me in under 10s. I timed how much I had to do to get to him and it takes me 1 min of platforming. I assume I'm gonna need 25-30 tries to beat him so I need to spend 25-30 mins doing the same platforming over and over again ? WHY???? In Prince of Persia the last crown you could just press Retry after getting killed by a boss and you resume the fight immediately. Why do I need to grind routes to bosses over and over? Its so pointless and annoying that I don't think I'll continue playing the game and when new HK sequels come up , I will make sure the game is not as annoying before buying.

Devs if you see this, please consider it.
