Hey everyone,
We just officially released our Sci-Fi short film A(R)MOR on YouTube, and I’m looking for honest, constructive feedback from other filmmakers and writers.
Logline:
In a near future, a traumatized programmer develops virtual AI companions for isolated humans and builds his own ideal partner, Akribeia. But as the artificial nature of their bond becomes unbearable, he shatters the illusion to take a step back into the physical world.
Background & Technical Context:
The film is an indie chamber play inspired by the ancient myth of Pygmalion & Galatea, set in our fictional Anadore universe. We wanted to balance intimate character acting with modern tools, so we used Unreal Engine 5 for selected virtual production scenes on set, blended with physical locations, live-action camera work, and DaVinci Resolve color grading.
Where I’m looking for specific critique:
Don’t hold back on critique: I want to know what didn’t work just as much as what did
