Yeah that was the part that made me go "okay yeah she might have mcfucking lost it".

I like how Leda is actually depicted as a genuinely nice person with a moral compass and who actually does enjoy helping people... until they get in the way of her vengeance. She knows that what she's doing is wrong, she just chooses not to care in those specific instances.

She picked that thing up when she was like 12, she had it for like 5 years, and from instant one she was already in late stages of the curse ( heaing balor’s voice), the fact that she lasted as long as she did and still managed to high dive off the deep end is a testament to something. At somepoint she had no soul left to burn still convinced Balor to give her demonic beasts.

I really wish we could have seen the crashout if Leda advances and Orchel beats Bertrand, but Leda seems to never beat Cai outside of her own route

Honestly I've felt that the Leda Orchel scene was moreso meant to give information to Orchel rather than really be a Leda scene. As in it's there for Orchel route relevant content and perhaps even make players on that route interested in this crazy ass woman trying to kill you suddenly. Related to that perhaps this means they'll expand on this in Orchels route and I'm interested.

I don't see it quite playing out as you say lmao but that'd be fun.

I don't think Leda would care that much honestly. Her goal is to kill Bertrand. With him out of the tournament, she'd be pissed but she has no reason to keep messing with Orchel. She'd just turn to alternate avenues (like she does in her paralogue)

Doesn't even need to be in the games really. Orchel does need to find a new final boss, assuming everything on that side turns out as usual with Theodora winning the semifinals but dropping out of the finals to go stop Dyan. Leda losing it due to losing her shot at Bertrand and getting high on Balor power and Orchel needs to beat and/or talk her down could be that.
