Different materials

I’ve done a small addition to my shed. It was previously all vinyl siding. That has been removed from all but the rear of the shed and replaced with T1-11. The shed is at the very back of my property and backs up to a wooded area. I would like to keep the rear vinyl. How do I make this corner where the vinyl meets the t1-11 work?

Put a piece of wood/vinyl trim. Or just caulk.

Yes, like this. If you had siding the juts out like this you'd have to caulk the gaps in between, or cut into the siding and butt the trim against it so there's a clean line.

Typically with siding like this the corners are done first and then the siding sits on top of it.
