Question The walking dead spin offs

Has anyone watched them? Are they any good?

Do any of them recapture that early twd vibe when walkers were still a threat?

Not very good.

Fear began ok...ruined it in season 2 by going down to Mexico...picked up in seasons 3 and 4....then trash..

I actually liked most of Fear, reminded me of the first couploe seasons of the OG show. The son drove me nuts, but then thinking of the addiction he had, but still.

I'll give this a shot, I tried world beyond and it was painful to sit through

Most of the beginning of the first season sucked. But it’s better towards the end.

daryl’s the one i’d actually recommend, it gets closer to that early survival vibe than i expected

I couldn't watch anymore after Glenn died, so I didn't want to watch the spin-offs in case they were connected

Same. I quit watching the moment he was killed and never went back. Didn't even finish the episode.

Daryl Dixon is the closest they get to that early TWD vibe, with actual atmosphere and walkers that occasionally feel dangerous again.

Fear The Walking dead I liked...show is based on the west coast, and starts off in Los Angeles from day 1 of the virus actually hitting. So when you watch the OG show, and wonder what happened...this actually shows that perspective, which was good.

World Beyond was dumb AF, and glad it only lasted the 1 season

Dead City is decent, follows Maggie and Negan, which was surprising at first, but also throws in some aspects from the final few episodes of the OG show.

Daryl Dixon...took a minute to figure out how he got to Europe, but seeing how the virus is worldwide, and the devestation across that area, and how they're surviving there has been a different take to see.

Honestly I didn’t like any of them. TBH I think TWD has run its course.
