Lanterns Discussion

I waited to see if this was any good, but after watching the first 3 episodes, I am really enjoying this series. I like how different each one is. John is more serious, while Hal is much more laid back.

the john/hal contrast is doing most of the heavy lifting, and thankfully it actually works here

I'm three episodes in as well and enjoying it more than I expected. The show clearly isn't trying to be the flashy space-opera version of Green Lantern — it's much more restrained, and that suits John especially. Hal so far reads like the guy who's seen it all and stopped taking it seriously, which lands well next to John's intensity.
