Nice group of Seattle supporters. Who else is here tonight?! Raise your hands!

Hey folks, it's here! Hockey's BACK! We've got the Birds playing tomorrow night in Wenatchee.

I've linked today's current roster, but this is probably still subject to change for a couple days.

And for fun, social admin dropped "First Day of the Season" boards and pics of the boys:

As a follow up to this recent post: https://www.reddit.com/r/seattlethunderbirds/s/XoIRS50jAK

The WHL plans to use YouTube for this season's games. At the moment, it sounds as though this will be their stop-gap solution for the year https://chl.ca/whl/article/whl-regular-season-games-to-stream-free-on-youtube/

That feels very short lived. I know not all streams were without issues, but it was better than nothing.

Definitely keeping my ear to the ground on this as it was one of the ways to stay connected when I travel and can't make the games!

Birds put up some more gear for auction on Dash, this time all about Scott Ratzlaff.

Additionally, single game tickets go on sale Wednesday!

I got these at a game I believe in 2017 or 2018. I really don’t have anywhere to display them. Free to a good home!

Jared Davidson has signed to stay on with the Habs/Rocket for at least another year.

More updates: Braeden Cootes has been named Captain for Team Canada ahead of this year's World Junior Summer Showcase

So sorry that the past couple months have been fairly quiet for posting - summer just kinda took over life.

So saying, hockey is ramping up, and one of the way it's doing that is with the Hlinka Gretzky Cup which is currently happening: https://www.hlinkagretzkycup.ca/en-ca/home

And our very own Brock England is a part of this year's competition. Hear a little bit from him in the days leading up to the competition: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUGRMzifALg

After the 2026-2026 promo schedule released, there was a lot of chatter in a couple of the Facebook groups. Many folks reached out asking if there could be another Fan Pride Night like what was done back in 2023, before the Tbirds had official Pride Nights.

The date chosen back in 2023 was International Colour Day, which is March 21. This season, we just so happen to have a game on that day!

From the post on FB in Tbirds Ladies:

"With no official scheduled promotion on this night, it also ensures no other group is overshadowed and the focus remains on supporting the pride community and inclusion. Feels right to go back to our "roots" from the first time we did it!

If you'd like to participate, we'd love for you to join in!

When it gets closer to the date we'll share more info!

Everyone's support and help back in 2023 truly made it such a fun night and we hope we can run it back again for another great day.

As always, if you don't like something, scroll. There's no room for hate here ✌"

It's here! Mark your calendars with fan favorites such as Teddy Bear Toss night, and new events such as a Bruce Lee night.
