the exchange stuck with me because it shows, to me, how aggressive and at same time inexperienced Teddy is at what he’s doing. always seemed Dr Cawleys response is at same time shows exasperation and also some sadness.

Spoiler - The scene where Paul Newman tries to save his friend from drowning as the tide rises was horrifying to watch. A completely awful yet believable situation based on one of those unforeseen mistakes that happen in life and suddenly it’s too late to stop it.
