I’m newish to Saskatoon and I had a pretty strong bird in community when I lived in Victoria. I don’t know how else to find people to hang out and go birding with! Especially interested in more of a young adults / queer friendly vibe since most birders here are old (no offence guys <3). If such a thing doesn’t already exist I might try to make one.

Hello everyone here, i've tried looking for jobs that i can realistically do here in the city from sites like indeed or the job bank but very little is there, and even less get back to me, so i was hoping (out of desperation) that there would be people here on this subreddit that can possibly point me in the right direction, have a need for their own employee, or have some pointers for someone like themself or others.

I really struggle with directionless work, too much reliability on me, the stress of expectations and deadlines, i strive with routine and constant work stimulation, i enjoy baking and cooking and i am relatively good at both, I'm also very caring and dedicated to learning, i can be easily stressed out and have an anxiety disorder as well.

I just read through the candidates bios on the election website and they all seem decent. Are any of them a book-burning dickbag or are they all pretty safe? Looks like they all have a background in education so I’d guess they’re decent but you never know.

To be clear, there is no money at all to host a staff party. Not sure how many will show up, maybe 30-50? Are there are any community halls that we could have a get together for free around the city? Had to go several blocks out of my way just to get in the parking lot and good luck getting out. If you want to head back east on 33rd you have to hope two lanes of traffic are curtious enough to let you get into the left turning lane, nope. I tried the ally...blocked off at Ave B. Went North up Ave B ally, big truck making delivery (Ave B is construction three blocks long btw so good luck going west) just to get back on to Idylwyld and sit through two green lights trying to turn left. And what's with the maze at the Shopper's checkout? And of course the milk is at the far corner of the store, standard consumer manipulation practice.
