Before the Swedish Saab Gripen Jets are made, Sweden need to establish an Ikea in every province. Its part of the negotiation deal. 🤷🤣

A slight joke.

There was once a rumor about a huge (300,000 sqft) mega mall being built in Dundurn. That's the same size as an Ikea.

It was more than just a rumor...

I was pretty sad this never actually came to fruition but I feel Saskatchewan just doesn’t have enough people to sustain such a project. Hit up the mall and then blackstrap to make a nice weekend day out of it? Sounds fun to me!

I appreciate that joke. I was on my way to Saskatoon for a conference in mid September and made a few mega mall jokes with a colleague as we passed Dundurn.

Even better … if anyone is familiar with Markham’s Pacific Mall, would have been a similar concept

Nothing exciting. It's being used for sewage upgrades in rural areas 😅

Because Saskatchewan has been staunchly voting Conservatives for our federal representation, every Conservative riding will get an essential infrastructure gazebo, like when Tony Clement was Harper’s finance minister //s

I dunno maybe sask could kickstart development again if they would take the damn pst back off of construction. But they won’t
