Go wash your mouth out with sopapillas.
Now that you clicked on this post, here’s a few things that you should know.
Some people ask similar questions quite often.
• I’m moving here, where should I live?
• Who’s coming for “remember the alamo day” and where should I eat dinner?
• What parts of town are safe and have the fewest teenagers wearing hoodies?
• When will these red light runners stop?
• Where is Mayor Webber doing such a great job?
• Why am i reading this?
I’d highly recommend looking through a few pages of old posts as your questions may have already been answered there more than a few times before. If you decide to ask these or similar questions, be advised that you may be met with eye rolls or stronger derision.
We have a Wiki here, if you’d like to contribute, let me know.
Please keep your post titles clean, if you run your filthy mouth in the title, your post may be removed.
Due to a preponderance of scam posts..
• Karma scores and Post karma below a certain amount will no longer be able to post here due to abusing users of this subreddit.
• Accounts younger than a certain age will no longer be able to post or reply to comments.
Keep it civil and above all, be kind to each other.

Check Here for Links on Visiting Santa Fe
Look here if you're interested in what r/SantaFe has to say about:
Airport
This list is by no means extensive and is merely an invitation to explore what the subreddit has already posted (and hopefully the links update as new posts are made). I'm putting this together for fun based on terms I've seen show up often or terms that are specific to Santa Fe/ NM so I hope you enjoy. Let me know - what did I miss on the list?? Add it below with a link to the search result.

Possibility of Ski Santa Fe opening early?
Totally hypothetical question, but out of curiosity does anyone think we’d open early if we got enough snow? I think a couple years ago when we got a bunch early they didn’t open, but Pajarito did? Either way, stoked for this season!

So much happening at Santa Fe Improv!

THE BIG A** IMPROV SHOW, OCT 17
Santa Fe Improv's House comedy teams, After School Special and Lunch Ladies perform two improv shows, back-to-back.
All Sales Final. Doors close five minutes after the show begins.
TUESDAY DROP-INS IN OCTOBER: Anyone Can Play
Every Tuesday!
Drop-ins are improv classes where anyone can come and we just have fun. Adults only.
October Drop-ins will be taught by one of our core instructors & coaches, James Howat.
If you've got zero improv experience, this is a great way to see what improv is about.
Please register online prior to class - no cash payment.
We are not able to offer refunds or financial aid for drop-ins.
Four-packs are good only for the month in which they are purchased and do not roll over.
TRUE STORIES: STARRING CASSIDY FREEMAN
Santa Fe Improv's True Stories — a monthly improv show where New Mexico's most interesting people share unscripted stories that become live comedy — welcomes back a special guest: Santa Fe local and acclaimed actress Cassidy Freeman (Paradise, The Righteous Gemstones, Longmire).
Here's how it works: you give us a word. Cassidy tells true stories — memories, opinions, tangents — sparked by it. Then Santa Fe's best improvisers spin her stories into a series of scenes you've never seen before, and will never see again. Just one of New Mexico's own, a room full of people, and whatever happens next.
Complimentary drinks and popcorn during intermission.
Proceeds support Improv4Schools™, Santa Fe Improv's free improv program in New Mexico public middle and high schools.
Saturday, October 24 · Doors 7:00 PM · Show 7:30 PM Approx. 90 minutes with intermission
LEVEL ONE: Introduction To Improv- starts 10/25
Level One focuses on scenes with two people. Two-person scenes are the core building block of almost all improvisation. In Level One you will learn to be comfortable on stage and how to draw inspiration from your real-life experiences.
Key skills include how to establish a base reality (who, what, and where) and how to discover an emotional reality (the way your character feels about the other character and the context in which the scene takes place).
No prerequisites or experience necessary.
Refunds issued with 48-hour notice before first class begins.
Adults only.

Women's bodies are under ATTACK! We're fighting to amend New Mexico's Constitution to guarantee abortion access, and provide TOTAL privacy for all women seeking reproductive healthcare inside New Mexico's borders. Texas can Yee and Haw about life sentences, we believe in Women's bodily autonomy.

I can't find any clear evidence, but according to a few Facebook posts, ICE was raiding at Agua Fria and Rufina this morning (10/13), around 9am.

Supermarket Crush Lol
I blurted out to you from across the parking lot! (Very charming right ;) ) I kind of heard what you said back… I was too nervous to actually come up and talk to you, though 😂!! And I wasn’t exactly dressed in my ‘Sunday best’.
I also wasn’t sure if it’d be weird to?
Idk, maybe you’ll see this post? Maybe you’ll see the missed connections post?
Oh goodness! Let’s just say, if there’s some chance you see this, & if you’d like to see what I look like when I actually bother, then DM me :)!

Is this weekend too late to see the trees change color on Aspen Trail?
Was thinking about going up this weekend for a hike but don’t know if it’ll be too late in the season.

NM History Deep Dives
(posted with permission)
Hello!
I have recently adopted the r/NewMexicoHistory subreddit and we are starting a new monthly deep dive discussion event.
Each month we'll have a megathread discussion on a specific user-voted NM History topic for the entire month. Of course, we'll have our normal discussions, but this will be a dedicated space to deep dive our monthly topic, discuss, and learn from each other.
You're welcome to join us! Please stop by, suggest your own topic for deep dive, and vote on others you think would be fun.
You can learn about it more here: https://www.reddit.com/r/newmexicohistory/s/OtuRGtxYTY
We look forward to seeing you soon, thank you!

Soccer Bars
Visiting the weekend of 11/13 and wanted to watch some of the Nations League games. Anyone know if there are any designated soccer bars or places people watched the World Cup back in the summer? Or are they few and far between?
I see maybe Two Fools or Twin Peaks in ABQ? And someone on FB said Boxcar?
