help i wanted to comeback using samsung notes but this is what holding me back

it seems that when I tried to open same notes. One will immediately close.

Doesnt allow you to do it on the same device, ive been trying this past week. I was a but successful doing it on my tab s8+ and book4 edge but they would refresh after every few minutes so it can get annoying.

I suggest copying whatever you want to edit and make a new note so you can keep the main one you want open then edit the copy. You can copy and paste the edited note back where you want using the page sorter in the note you're using setting's

Hey OP, asking for some clarification for a few things. Do you want to open two copies of the same note or two different notes? What type of device are you using Samsung Notes on?

1. Same note side by side (ideally, with them updating simultaneously)

Im currently majoring in accounting, so I have to often open journal entries and do statement/noting question which I will be editting both things at once. (In the same file)

I know I can use the ai select thing and pin it on my screen, but its annoying since I will have to redo it everytime I edit something.

What exactly do you do? Like the editing you do are on two non consecutive pages? Or is Journal entry is in the first half of the notes and doing statements is on other half?

If there are consecutive then you can use 2 page layout. If it's the 2nd scenario then make two different notes and put it in splitscreen, when you need them combined you can just copy all pages of and paste it in the other.

But there is no way open two instances of the same note as it creates a syncing issue.

I have an idea

Open secure folder and add your same Samsung account or create an different account next you have 2 different Samsung notes app you can share with other notes

You can open Samsung Notes multiple windows and use them side by side.But each one will open a different note.

To do that, you can use the ping gesture double tap to open Samsung and pop-up window.I can't remember how I found this in settings, but you'll find it and it just gives you infinite Samsung noise.You can just keep, but you have to be at Home Screen.You can just keep adding warm and minimizing it and adding another one I guess and then use it side by side or whatever orientation you want.But you have two open windows now , so you can use it however you like .

The other way is to try. Opening a file from a document PDF from either WhatsApp or Telegram or even the files open it with Samsung Notes and you will go into a window. Don't go back in this window of that specific PDA file, click that back button on the top left of the Samsung Notes app. And when you do that, you will go back to the regular Samsung Notes app and this window will be extra window. That's not the same window as the As is the main Samsung Notes app.And then you can use it side by
