Just passed a suicide note attached to a professor's door. I don't know who needs to hear this but please don't end it over this. things will get better I promise. don't do this.

Okay so I just took my midterm 1 exam for Calculus, anyways my professor wasn’t doing the seating of every other one, and instead he told us to all sit at the front, and the back rows were empty, anyways my row was fully empty with me and maybe like 2 people who were really spread out, this girl comes in, sits directly next to me, keep in mind only 3 people including me were in the row so the seats there were so much room. She sits next to me, and at first I was like “what ever more people are going to fill up the seats” which did happen but the seats next to here which were 3 were empty. Meaning she could have moved.

Throughout the exam I kept seeing her glance over at my paper and also I had no clue what I was doing so she’s going to fail either way.

Anyways the professor comes around takes a look at my exam version and her exam version and they were both the same. He let us finish the exam he didn’t say anything. When I go and put my exam to turn it in he puts it away from the rest of the piles and not in the pile d. At first I’m a bit skeptical right so I hang by the class untill it’s just a few more people in the room. He accused me of cheating, said I was helping someone else cheat. So I look at the pile and it’s just my paper there and not the other girls. So I’m like thinking to myself why is hers not there. Turns out she said I was looking at her paper.

How cooked am I? It’s a her word against mine. I told the professor that I didn’t do good in the exam and in my recitation quizzes so if I did cheat on this exam I would have gotten a 100 which would not accurately represent the ones in my recitation which would mean I definitely cheated however that’s not the case , I told him I struggled taking this exam.

Anyone ever been accused of cheating?

Edit: thank you everyone for your help even Dr G commented, I talked to my professor all is good, my exam is not being voided and I don’t have to retake the exam, I always attend lectures, office hours and recitations so he had a better understanding of my plea versus the girl. So yay no longer have to retake it.

In 1999, I'm assuming based on what someone said to one of my previous posts that the university started to provide the landlines and connections themselves and charged a fee for it instead of students paying Bell Atlantic.

Or did every dorm room have one landline provided by Rutgers and people just paid for the phone connection until 1999 after which Rutgers also gave the phone connections?

Went to livi today for the plant nuggets cause they said they had them online and I go to the cook to order and it’s just normal wings this happened at Busch too with the plant based glizzies, and my gf had it happen to her the other day saying they had chicken and waffles and they didn’t.

deadass no love into making the food. Literally just thrown together sloppily.

if you saw the ppl from TPUSA outside of CASC today, the “sensitive crying liberals” that they debated were actually just members from TPUSA. the second the “debate” ended the “liberal” would go back behind the tent with the other members. the second someone actually tried to debate them, they would turn off the mic. the best thing we can do is not give these losers any attention they’re just clip farming and are incapable of forming a singular coherent thought so they have to fake it by staging a win.

Yo genuinely why tf has the WiFi here went from being normal to complete ass twice this week?

will someone kick me out if i spend the night in the lounge of a dorm like mettler or brett? just to study, not to live there/sleep. commuter who really does not want to drive an hour back tonight

Hi, I'm looking for a roomate for my double from January-July 2027 in an all female house. House has 2 bathrooms and in unit washer/dryer. The house is a little-off campus (Barlett street) and is only a 3 minute walk from the College Ave Student Center. All the girls in the house are sweet and responsible students. Let me know if ur interested!

Realistically what are my chances, i currently have a 3.2 and I've been raising it but I still have this entire fall and next spring before i transfer. Also, generally when do you hear back for the following fall? (I applied a week ago for fall 27).

Is anyone else having issues with the internet currently?

I can’t sleep so I’m using my energy to bless you guys with an amazing day tomorrow! May you get to school safely if you’re a commuter, the bus that you need be on time for you, and to pass your quizzes and exams

Take deep breaths and everything will be okay :)

Hey. I’m currently writing a story on ICE activity in New Brunswick and I’m trying to see if anyone is willing to chat and answer a few questions. Obviously if you prefer you can stay anonymous. So yea def reach out if you’ve had experience with ICE in anyway, whether you’ve been to a protest, have witnessed something, or if even if you want to share how it is impacting you.

As a junior, can an RBS-New Brunswick student register for a winter session course at Rutgers Business School Newark? If so, how can I get it approved?

Because the Newark Project Management professor is rated much better than the NB professor
