In my opinion this is what Ruger does best

If the rumors are true and they stop their revolver lines I’ll forever be irritated with Ruger.

And the GP100 and SP-101 have already disappeared from the Ruger website

Is it true? Are they really discontinuing the M77/Hawkeye?

• Upvotes

I just wanted to know if I'm the only one who thinks this is a stupid decision. The M77 is probably my favorite rifle, I own two of them. There really aren't many controlled feed rifles on the market anymore. Of course you can still find them used but I always thought it was cool that Ruger was still making them.

1979 Ruger Super Blackhawk 44mag. Looks like she’s barely been fired judging by the lack of wear on the recoil shield. Bluing is damn near flawless. Paid 550 otd.

The only Ruger revolver I’ve ever purchased. Usually a smith and Uberti guy. Was looking forward to digging more into Rugers line but I bet people will start asking insane prices for them. “I know what I got sonnyboy.”

Discontinued

Are these models that are being discontinued about to shoot up in value? Will it take some years? Or will things stay basically the same?

Is the Ruger American Gen 2 worth it?

Really been wanting a bolt action 5.56 mainly for plinking. Was drawn to the American Gen 2 Ranch, especially since it takes existing AR mags. But I’ve been reading reviews about problems with FTF and FTE. It also sounds like the bolt can be very stiff and finicky.

My question is, from the people that have actually owned one, is it worth buying? Are the issues fairly common or is it really kind of a “luck of the draw” type of thing?

Also, is there any reliability difference between the 5.56 Ranch vs the Patrol?

The rifle seems like it has a lot of potential, but I don’t want to drop money on something I’ll just be frustrated with and regret. Would it be better to wait for a potential Gen 3 version?

Thanks in advance.

Will they be making more LCR .22LR?

I only have 4 carry guns, but my LCR 32 is by far my favorite. I should have pulled the trigger on the LCR .22LR about a year ago, but I didn't and now I wish I did. Will they be making more? I'm not too interested in buying used currently, especially since the prices aren't great. If there were good prices then sure I would.

Given Ruger’s production announcement, do my Blackhawk + Davidson’s Exclusive 5” GP100 mean I’m rich now?

bolt issue - Glenfield model A 308

Hello everyone,

I picked up my new Glenfield Model A in 308 yesterday but I noticed the bolt on it drags across the magazine causing a lot of friction. I took the magazine out and it seems to be nice and smooth but with the magazine inserted it drags quite a bit. Any idea how I can fix this? should I reach out to Ruger to resolve this?

PSA Rock and LC 5.7 mag compatibility

Hello
I have about half a dozen matching pistol/PCC combos and would like to get a PCC to match my PSA Rock (more so the ~20 or so mags I already have for it lol)
I have heard that Rock mags should work with the LC5.7, with the caveat that LC5.7 mags won’t work with the Rock.

I’m ok if that’s the case.

Does anyone have first hand experience with this and can weigh in?

Thanks
