Meta Honda Simps out, get your own sub.

Post image
1.6k Upvotes

I'm taking this opportunity to remind everyone that this is a Royal Enfield sub. This isn't a sub for Honda CB discussion.

If you haven't noticed it it's because I've been removing threads. Some of these posts are bots (I suspect Honda India marketing has something to do with it, but I cant prove it). I've seen shit like

"RE is too common these days, I need something more premium" well well well I didn't know we had fucking big shots in here, big spenders that can spend 2 lakh on a super exotic bike...

"CB has Japanese quality" I didn't know India was part of Japan now. The Honda GBs are designed by Indian engineers, assembled in Indian factories by Indian workers. They didn't even export out of India until like 2 years ago. I'm not even Indian and I'm calling you out for being anti national.

Seriously, if you want to buy a CB to feel special fine, it doesn't hurt my feelings. I don't work for Royal Enfield, but get your own sub. This is the Enfield sub. Frankly it's cringe, it's like you're posting on here for attention "oh look how different my choice in bikes is, you Enfield riders are far too common, I like the bikes made by the company that makes more bikes than any other company in the world, that makes me unique and special". Triumph fans don't do that crap.

Violators will start getting bans under rules 1 and 5

I recently picked up a beautiful Interceptor. It's my first bike. I must have watched like 20 reviews about this thing, and one thing that almost all those reviewers told me was that it's pretty slow. I'm flabergasted at what they seem to think is slow. Just shows you how skewed a motorcycle riders mind is when it comes to speed.

Royal Enfield delivery delayed, no proper response from customer support

Booked a Meteor 350 Aurora Retro Green on 2nd Aug, with delivery promised by 8th Oct. Still stuck at “Booked.” Multiple emails got only generic replies, and the latest response was a blank email. Has anyone faced this? Will an NCH complaint help?

I didn't know the exact use of torque other than pulling, didn't even know about the term tractability . But man this was something . No acceleration no clutch pull bike just runs ,

I don't have any biker friends who know about bikes much .

Are there other things that I can do , tricks or anything other than getting from point a to b travel.

I gave 0 raise , was riding with pillion , me 80kg pillion 60kg.

I was looking for to buy a thinderbird 2019 model and liked one. It looks good and rides well but what are some mechanical things i should be looking into before buying it. Also it has a slight oil leak on its head portion, Is it really a big complaint to be worried. He is asking 95k for second owner vehicle, is it overpriced?

Bear 650 lost mileage

Post image
2 Upvotes

Anybody ever have their trip meter on their TFT lose miles on a trip? I calculated I did at least 125 MI and my trip meter only read 76 mi. It seemed to be on track until I got into a very rough area with no reception. Later down the road I noticed it was only reading 42 miles. Approximately the distance from the rough patch. Could the trip A have reset itself? It can't be dependent on cell reception to keep track of the miles can it? Would an extremely rough washboard road wig the TFT out? Now I don't know if the 330 MI on my trip B for the entire trip is accurate or not... Even on my last leg when I started paying close attention, the trip A seemed to only accumulate 36 MI over what Google maps said would be a 47 MI route. I really depend upon my trip meter to inform when I am in need of fuel, if I can't trust the trip meter I am kind of anxious.

Finally brought home my Classic 350 Stealth Black

Need some advice from fellow owners on maintaining the matte finish.

  1. Is matte PPF worth it, or should I go for ceramic coating?

  2. Which pH-neutral shampoo is best for washing?

  3. How do you clean dust, water spots, and fingerprints?

  4. Any recommended cleaning products or microfiber cloths?

  5. Any dos and don'ts to keep the matte finish looking new?

Would love to hear your experiences and product recommendations. Thanks in advance

Bought the Meteor 350 (2026) – Need PDI Checklist and Delivery Tips!

Hi everyone! I recently bought the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 (2026 model)! I am looking for suggestions on what I should check before taking delivery and what I should do after bringing the bike home. I have already added a sump guard, engine guard, and fat footpegs. I would appreciate your advice on the following:

PDI checklist: What should I inspect before accepting delivery? Are there any specific things to look out for on the Meteor 350?

Manufacturing date: How recent should the manufacturing date be? How do I verify the VIN, chassis number, and engine number?

Documents and insurance: What documents should I verify before delivery? Any tips for choosing insurance and avoiding unnecessary add-ons?

After delivery: What should I do immediately after getting the bike? Any advice on the running-in period, first service, tyre pressure, and chain maintenance?

Things to avoid: Are there any common mistakes new owners make during delivery or the first few months of ownership?

I would really appreciate a practical checklist from Meteor 350 owners, especially anyone who has recently purchased the 2026 model.

Thanks in advance!

How much power can you get out of the Himi 411 and still be dependable?

I Love the looks and character of the 411, but it lacks some power when I’m 2 up and want to take my wife for a ride in the mountains. I hate the looks of all of its competitors and although I hear all the time about how heavy it is, I think it’s a great handling bike. I can do a Cam and a big bore kit for about 1k dollars, but will that ruin the dependability or character of the bike?

Mechanical Assistance Headlight stopped working

Looks like I might be sidelined for a couple weeks until the shop can figure out what's wrong.

I have a 2026 Guerrilla 450 and noticed it while riding, because I was getting flashed, yesterday that the headlight wasn't on. Changed out fuses, checked the relays, and, nothing...

The shop has me scheduled for the 28th. I am going stir crazy already without the ability to ride.

Buying Advice- India and Asia RE Buying advice needed.

Did your Royal Enfield dealer let you do a stockyard PDI before clearing the final balance, or did they demand full payment first?

Should I insist on doing a physical PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) before paying the full amount for my Royal Enfield, or do dealers only allow it after payment/registration?

Help me in process.

Help a new rider out.

Hello fellow Enfieldians! I just purchased my first ever motorcycle a couple weeks ago. I bought a 2026 bullet 350 in the black/gold. I love the bike as is, however I really would like to possibly switch out the seat at some point for a more cafe style bench seat in brown (I had AI create this image as a reference). I am in the states and unfortunately there is not a huge amount of info and resources available so I wanted to just go on here and ask. Does anyone know what kind of options are available? I recently ordered the 'brown low ride dual seat', it hasn't come in yet but I'm afraid it is going to give the seat an even more scooped look. I've scoured the internet looking for options but haven't seen anything extremely promising.

Looking forward to the Himi 750, and also the gear they may launch with it, considering this is going to be their piece de resistance.

Hey guys, I’m planning a few mods on my GT. Thinking of going with Powerrage over Red Rooster for the exhaust. Also looking for a decent set of side mirrors. Can someone drop a link so I can check them out?
