TAKTO ONE is an open-source, tendon-driven hand exoskeleton I built for my master’s thesis: the CAD, PCBs, firmware and build guide are all public. Each of the 12 finger joints has its own magnetic encoder, and the twin in the headset moves from those sensors and two IMUs, not from camera tracking, so a hidden finger still gets measured.
You can play with the twin in your browser, no hardware needed:

Questions are very welcome! if it’s useful, a star helps other people find It :)

Boston Dynamics says its prototype operations team can currently assemble an Atlas humanoid in about one day, with a goal of reducing the process to roughly an hour next year. By keeping precision machining, assembly, repairs, and engineering under one roof, the company can test design changes and replace components more quickly. However, the one-day figure refers to assembly time for an individual robot—not a confirmed production rate of one Atlas per day.
