Hey guys I’m a ucsd senior who just created his first game in a dev build state on Roblox!! I made this game over a few months of hard work and I think it payed off!! The game is called EXIT POINT and is a BASE jumping and skydiving game based off my love for skydiving and my school. I hope to BASE jump with u guys soon!!

I've been making this game for the last couple of months. I'm essentially trying to combine Sid Meier's Pirate, AC4, and Puzzle Pirates. I've only been focusing on how the ocean is, using Flipbooks for the water texture/animations, attempting to mirror how AC4 did it as well as the weather effects. It's set in the Caribbean like Sid Meier's with ports that you could eventually takeover and manage. Same with Puzzle Pirates. Player driven economy, island ownership, crews/flags. Mining iron to then put in the refinery to smelt and then make cannon balls, nails, swords, etc. I still have a long way to go but it's been a lot of fun making it so far. :)

Okay, has anyone else seen what’s going on with the TCSModTester accounts?
Apparently multiple developers have reported random accounts joining their games, sending a few messages in chat, and then leaving.
Some of those games were later taken down for supposedly not implementing Roblox’s TextChatService properly.
The weird part? Some developers claim their games were using the normal Roblox chat system and weren’t breaking any rules.
Nobody seems to know for sure if these accounts are official Roblox testers or something else. And it’s not confirmed that they’re actually responsible for the removals.
Imagine spending months making a game, only for it to disappear and not even being told exactly what you need to fix.
This has been getting discussed on the Roblox DevForum, but I feel like more people should know about it.
What do you guys think is actually happening?

For people that had been experiencing a longing feeling for the golden times of your experience in the platform (for me that was during the quarantine), how do you deal with it? I've been thinking of reaching out to my close online friends but the years following the quarantine my behavior wasn't the best. It also didn't help that I wasn't as active at the time, and so their last and current view of me isn't the best, and they've likely moved on already. I don't even know if I miss my friends or only the idea of them.

I’m a solo dev from Korea, and this is the horror game I’ve been working on.

The idea:

• Up to 12 players explore a mansion together
• The mansion changes every run, so no two runs are the same
• You have to find the goal room before the monster finds you
• Playable in English, Japanese, and Korean

I always got bored of horror games once I memorized the map, so I wanted every run to feel unfamiliar. You never know what’s around the next corner.

It’s still early, and I’m trying to make it scarier. What do you think of the atmosphere and the monster? Anything you’d add to make it more terrifying?
