Safety Druk żywiczny i rękawice ochronne. Sprawdziliśmy, jak długo nitryl naprawdę chroni przed akrylanami.

2 Upvotes

Dragonfruit: Dev Release v0.1.13 (First Pass at Autosupports)

44 Upvotes

https://github.com/Open-Resin-Alliance/DragonFruit/releases/tag/v0.1.13

```
New Features:
Auto Supports V1 (experimental): The pipeline scans for islands and overhangs and grows a support tree, leaves that fan out and merge onto trunks, cavity sticks and twigs, and automatic bracing. It can do light/medium/heavy presets, deterministic runs, and a placement log with refusal reasons and origin-color debugging. Expect odd placements on thin shells and extreme cavities!
Chitubox scenes can be imported (i.e. .chitubox files) (experimental).
```

```
Fixes:
Decimation revamp: the trigger moves from 6 M to 4 M triangles with a 4M–8M soft target and a relaxing epsilon sequence, and both the decimated and original meshes travel in the VOXL file. This fixes the damaged first layer and broken rafts on presupported (non-Lychee) imports
Autosave no longer freezes the app: the scoped support-owner resolver went from O(N²) to O(N) (#548), and VOXL 2.2 moves hollowing/hole-punch snapshots out of JSON into binary chunks, so large scenes no longer fail to save with RangeError: Invalid string length.
LYS imports are much better: unbaked hole punches get a real Apply to All in the Export tab (with a Go to Hollow Tool path and no more modal storms), branch angles are preserved (#486), and rotation and interior-face support anchoring are fixed (#283).
Support identification is more forgiving on decimated and split meshes, and hollowing shells with missing holes are no longer misclassified as supports.
```

Question What would case these lines?

Post image

They aren't major but they are showing up a bit more frequently lately. Could it be a sign to change the acf film? I just hit 70k layers on the one the printer came with. Could it be needing to grease the z rod?

Been working on printing this clayface at 1:3 scale for a customer of mine. Should stand at just around 34” tall once the base is factored in. Had to have a friend cut the spiked ball up for me to allow it to fit on my 8KS

Workspace Hi everyone! Let me introduce myself.

10 Upvotes

My name is Roberto Reale, and I've been sculpting miniatures for many years for my Company (royalmodel.eu). I originally sculpted by hand using epoxy putty and tools that I made myself. About twelve years ago, with the rise of 3D technology and after discovering ZBrush, I started creating my sculptures digitally in 3D.

Back then, 3D printing was still quite a luxury! I still get chills when I remember how much my first laser tecnology printer cost me my DWS 28J!

These days, I mainly use resin SLA printers, especially my Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra, which I'm very happy with.

I'd like to share some of my prints with you. These aren't just display pieces: I usually use my 3D-printed masters to create silicone rubber molds and then cast the miniatures in resin for production at my own model-making company.

I also enjoy painting my miniatures, and I often paint the pieces I create. It's a great way to bring them to life and appreciate the sculpting work from a different perspective.

I'm looking forward to sharing some of my work with you and hearing your thoughts. It's great to connect with people who share the same passion for 3D printing, miniature sculpting, and painting!

Thanks for having me here!

Question Newly back to SLA printing, I need help .....

Hi everyone,

I've recently received a small humbre SLA as a gift. It's the Elagoo saturn 2 pro. and I was extatic. I did the initial bed calibration ok then tried to do a print with the resin I got with the printer (Elagoo water washable ABS-like resin (V1?))

But then I tried to do a big print : the "doom-guy" from my minifactory scaled up to 150%
I hollowed it (2mm) added draining holes at the lowest point and bumped up the first layer exposure time to 40s (from 35s stock) to prevent bed lift as it is a huge print

My issue is that I don't know enough to start fixing my setup myself :
Is it a resin issue ? resin parameter ? Too many parts on the platform ? bad hollowing / draining holes ?

Also on another note, if anyone has recomendation for resin that has low odors and that I can use for huge prints I'l gladly listen !

Thanks!

Troubleshooting Help please

Hey everyone, I just bought a photo mono four ultra and after a few prints I’ve realized an issue. I don’t know if it’s exactly preventing my printer or anything, but I’ve taken the screen protector off and there’s this weird blob. Can anyone tell me what this is and if it’s a failure, therefore, preventing my prints, thank you

Question Help me order the Formlabs Form Studio 1

0 Upvotes

Hey, I'm new to resin printer. Does it make sense to order the package that comes with the Form Studio Wash+Cure? Or can I get something else similar/better from another brand?

If I get that package that comes with reg wash+cure, it delays delivery by quite a bit.

Lots of other options as well in the order form.

Question Setup in unheated garage - will it get damaged?

1 Upvotes

Hello.

I built my setup this summer, everything in a big grow tent. Because of health issues I never was able to start printing and I won't be for the next months. The garage is held at +1°C in winter with a heater and smart thermometer. Will this damage the printer? It's an elegoo Saturn 4 ultra. Winter usually lasts for at least 5 months here.

Question 3D-printed grill won’t fit the stone model — scan, design, or resin issue?

1 Upvotes

3D-printed grill won’t fit the stone model — scan, design, or resin issue?

Hi everyone, I’m making a single-tooth grill, but the resin print won’t fully fit the original dental stone model.
My setup:
Scanner: 3DMakerpro Seal with a multi-axis turntable
Design software: Nomad Sculpt
Printer: ELEGOO Mars 5
Resin: Siraya Tech Cast Purple
I scan the stone model and design the grill directly against the scanned tooth, without adding any intentional internal clearance.
The print goes on partway but stops before seating fully. This happens at the resin stage, before metal casting. I’m testing it on the original stone model, not in my mouth.
I’m unsure whether the problem is scan accuracy, my design workflow, or distortion during printing or post-curing.
Has anyone successfully made grillz using this resin or a similar setup? How would you identify the cause? Do you add internal clearance or block out undercuts before designing the grill?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
