Reiki share / trade Free Group Distance Reiki For Cancer Patients

I'm a level II Usui Holy Fire practitioner offering 3 hours of group Reiki for people who are currently fighting cancer, are in remission, or have a precancerous condition. This won't be like my typical sessions, I'll be sending Reiki to a list of names in 30'ish minute blocks every day the week of October 17-23. Participants don't have to stop what they're doing, they can go about their day.

I'm doing this as a pay-it-forward act of service for a recent attunement I received. Registration closes tomorrow October 16th at 6 pm PST.

If you're interested you can sign up using the registration form on my website here: https://www.rockabyereiki.com/reiki-for-cancer

I’m participating in a virtual group session this weekend. Wanted to know if anyone had ever done this and what your experience was during and after. Thanks!

curious question A few Questions regarding Reiki

  1. If I'm attuned to difference "sources" like Usui, Karuna and Holy fire. When I channel, what does happen, do I channel 1 at the time, the last I've set? The desired mixed between them all, i.e, if the person needs karuna and Normal Usui, that's what's going to flow at perfect %? if that makes sense

Are they that different? I'm attuned to Karuna and Usui and as my master said, the source is the same, so what is different? is there a filter within us that leads them to different "frequencies"?

  1. How do you Actually practice for/on yourself to become a better healer? I agree that in order to become compentent at any area, you have to do the your "Homework"*, nevertheless when I get to myself, the amount of attention & effort if have to put distracts me from progressing on my "healing abilities", getting in touch with chakras etc. Just like, how can a massage therapist practice on him/herself?
Whenever I practiced on others I've felt way more intuitive on what to do, but on myself I hardly feel any byosen/hand sensations.

*-The one who has gone through the experience knows about it vs the one who just read or heard the theory, the cheff who doesn't know how to slice an onion, the "fat and unhealthy nutricionist/Personal Trainer", "The psychologist who isn't mentally steady at all times", don't take it as an offense, but to me if I'm someone who never does anything and only imagines how things should work via logic or anything doesn't know how the world actually works.

  1. Perhaps stupid or controversial, but why is "advicing" banned for a Reiki Practicioner? I understand that by "law" medics are those who can diagnose you with responsability, but we all have intuition, and I think that most community around here agrees that we live in a Spiritual world and as we have many bodies, from the physical to the spiritual.
Diseases spread first in other bodies like the emotional one (stress for example) before it manifests in the physical one, and Medicine pays less attention to that.
I'm not saying that everyone should be saying everything that has come to their mind, I've had cases where the information was more important for me than for other, for a number of reasons.
While in other sessions, an exemple of one: I felt guided to focus more on the throat chakra, give it a better treatment than the rest, and after that treatment that person told me she was going to do an oral presentation to a group and was somewhat nervous among many other cases

We can be "energetic surgeons" but from my understanding we oughta be careful since some people will just listen blindly to everything and put focus on whatever they want and not everyone is ready or was prepared to talk out on what they channel

I'd ask for your personal answers as opposed to just repetitions of what you've heard without putting it in practice. It's a hard field to know by oneself, but it's one of those where your personal experience counts the most.

discussion Help me out — I may be working as a reiki practitioner in a care home setting soon 🥳💖

I’ve recently learned that I have a job offer within a care home setting, that relates to my reiki practice. I’m an Eastern style Usui reiki ryoho practitioner with attunements and training in Shoden (Reiki level I) Okuden (Reiki level II) and this will be my first paid work as a reiki practitioner and care assistant. I’m quite excited but nervous at the same time— I really need some help with understanding what is probably needed of me so I can prepare for the interview. Please offer your advice and support.
