By design, there's so many, you'd be hard-pressed to have anyone who was familiar with the entire ecosystem.
There's over 400. And they don't exist in an especially transparent system so they avoid scrutiny.

Yep, there are lots if areas which have a quango or whole dept and i wonder if its needed.
Do we need a dept if culture, media & sport?

Overseas aid.
Fix the UK first. Redirect that aid going overseas to either supporting the people they've sent here, or helping them return home.

No offence but this would be the worst thing to do IMO. it would add even more of a pull factor from those countries, if we say we're only helping the people who physically come here (which already happens of course, but this would exacerbate it). we need to abolish all/most aid to the ppl that actually cross on small boats first

The "helping" them return home was more a "you're going home, we will help you get there" than a "we will help you if you want to go home".

Every single non governmental body should be rolled into government where it is accountable to Parliament.

Ideally I would agree with you but governments seem to get extremely bogged down in procedure to the point that they seemingly can't achieve anything.

Eer, no. I work for the Home Office. We are responsible for Immigration Enforcement and Border Control. It’s not our fault if our hands are tied behind our backs by feckless politicians and anti-British human rights lawyers. 99% of our staff are extremely hard working for the good of the country.

the fact the 'low pay commission' even exists is a travesty of this country. gov burocrats getting paid to tell politicians they need to raise costs for businesses, which barely get a say

The main one for me was NHS England, but Labour are actually doing that job, one of the few things they've got right. It's a mess of waste/duplication in there.

I agree that NHS England appear to be a duplication of effort and it's great that it's been taken down but what I can't understand is they are still recruiting for NHS England and in fact it's appointed more people since the announcement than any private business.
It's either a worry that private businesses are not recruiting as quickly as a defunked quango all the governments are lying more possibly both

All of them.
Close every single one and THEN make them justify their existence to the public.
We can make a night of it, it will be more popular than strictly. Each one goes on TV and gets to justify their salaries and expenses and Joe public gets to vote.
I guarantee a lot of them will be too embarrassed to even show up and admit what they have been doing with our money for all these years.
