Reddit API Does Reddit Still Approve New Apps for OAuth identity Scope?

Does Reddit approve new applications for the OAuth identity scope for login-only use cases (Sign in with Reddit)? If so, what is the application process, and where is the relevant documentation?

No, they do not. The api is closed.

If application exist, it is well hidden.

In theory, it’s possible to get api access for a few months. In practice, don’t bother. It probably won’t be approved, and if it is, it won’t matter as all public api access is being removed, even for people who went through the proper steps to apply for it or had it from before the changes.
