Recruitment Chats What's the wildest reason a candidate gave for no-showing an interview?
Curious what everyone's heard. Bonus points if they rescheduled and actually showed up.

Anybody with inside knowledge on this can chime in? Seems rather ominous one of the preeminent VC firms would axe their TA team; something their portcos presumably utilize.

Posted in the Rippling subreddit but the sub is very small and I desperately need help.
We just started using Rippling as our ATS this week and I am having some struggles with it. I cannot figure out how to rate candidates with stars or a scale of 1-5 in the application review stage. I only have the option to deny or move a candidate forward to interview.
I spoke with our assigned implementation specialist and his only work around is to use tags and create 5 tags that say 1 star, 2 star, etc. but this method is not usable because you cant see the tags without clicking on each individual application you can only filter by tags, not have them as a column. I need to be able to see which applications I have viewed at a glance and what I would rate them. We have hundreds of applications in a day and I need this functionality.
Has anyone had this issue and can help?

I spoke with a headhunter about leaving my current agency to join another firm as an internal recruiter - this is another agency firm that competes within a different industry but still very much an agency.
She sold it as a corporate recruiter role but there’s a base and bonuses. Sounded more elevated than what I’m doing now but also afraid of joining another agency in the same situation I am right now, even if it were more ‘internal’. Anyone here do internal for an agency? Is it really much different than just hiring on the agency side? Should I avoid and wait out for a true corporate or TA role outside of agency?
Other options I was thinking of were HR Associates path. I’m just burnt out on the hamster wheel that is agency.
