Realm not saving player data (inventory/achievements) during a re-upload

Context: With the new MC update, we wanted to access new context much closer to our base. my friend sent me the realm file and i accessed MCA selector to delete all the unloaded chunks. I sent it back to them, now it is not registering me or her as registered players who have months of game time. All our inventory/achievements are gone. The odd thing is when she sent me the file and I accessed it as a single player world, all my data transferred over. Has anyone ever encountered this issue before? (There have been around 10 players on the realm ever, but only 5 of us are still playing, with me having the most amount of time on the realm)
