Received this unsolicited message. Please be careful out there. Have reported as spam
His message gives me the creeps, made worse by the fact that he has a two yr old Reddit account with 1 karma, no visible posts or comments, and no evidence of an actual photography portfolio. He’s approached us as strangers who expressed an interest in a walking group, not modelling or photography. The escalation from wildlife photography to portraits to BDSM and bondage is alarming to say the least. The repeated reassurances that there’s “no pressure” and that the first shoot doesn’t have to be kinky. It feels like he’s introducing a sexual interest under the guise of something relatively innocent. He could very well be genuine but there is nothing in his message that establishes credibility. Please be careful everyone

I am 96% sure this is a man I used to work with, as he asked me the same thing back then. Creepy bastard.
Thanks for letting us know!

Using “females” as a noun is usually a pretty big red flag indicator, and this loser further proves that theory!

Yeah this word is all I needed to see to know it would be some weird shit. Didn’t even bother reading the rest

Hahaha nice try mate. "I just want to take pictures of girls out in nature maybe with some hedgehogs but progressing to being securely tied up maybe with the hedgehog. Only if you're comfortable. We can lose the hedgehog." 😂😂😂

I think you’re all way overreacting. Wtf is wrong with meeting a stranger in a secluded place, few snaps of a moorhen & then, if you’re comfortable with it, getting your tatas out for some no doubt tasteful shots?
Honestly, this generation…

So outlandish it makes me think the fetish is in sending the message and shocking people. "I see you're interested in nature walks, can I take photos of you in bondage gear? Don't worry, we'll build up to it." How could that ever work?

Yeah, warning people to be careful actually just feels a unnecessary - I can’t believe for a moment that people read the bit about photography and skip over the bit about tasteful BDSM, I mean… what a freaking leap

I meant be careful because some people may actually be inclined to meet people like this. Not everyone has a danger filter

u/DPH996 2d ago
I know what you meant, but really, you think people wouldn’t spot this 20 miles away in the dark? I really struggle to believe anyone would be tempted by this?

I shared this with a private group and someone there believed it was a genuine harmless request ….

I say this in the kindest way possible, but that person genuinely needs help if they can’t see the very obvious danger in that message

That is extremely creepy.
Red flags flying out of each and every corner kind of creepy.

They live among us.
What a creep. Do they think this actually works on "females"

I used to model when I was around 14 to 19 and the amount of creeps who use photography as a cober to try and groom you into bdsm is sickening. What a creep! They think we are this naive? And stupid? 🙄

I'd report this to the police personally

Don't get me wrong, it's creepy as f**k! But he didn't say anything criminal.

u/One-Willow-4843 1d ago
It's called grooming and it's predator behavior.
Never said he did a crime. I'd still report it.

Is the op underage?
If not....its not called grooming at all
Not defending the indefisable but there is unfortunately no crime here.
