ReactOS upgrade?

Is there a method to upgrade Windows to ReactOS without a re-install?
I have a system that has legacy software that I like to keep and am unable to re-install.
It would be lovely to have an upgrade path for this machine but I am unsure if this is possible to do this..

  • Turn off legacy machine.
  • Get out hard drive.
  • Turn on modern machine with old hard drive mounted as additional HDD.
  • Create virtual hard drive from old hard drive.
  • Try to import new virtual hard drive into virtual machine.
  • Then try to mess with Your local copy.

Not recommended for modern computers, but from Windows XP to ReactOS? IIRC I've watched Carl's video and it didn't work.

Upgrade suggests you get an increase in quality, production, or usability which react provides none.

Currently react cannot replace any windows machine greater than 3.11 as it can't do everything win95 and up can do.

Pretty sure you'd have to fresh install ReactOS.
