So some how a rat got into our home. We were able to live trap her, and we have discovered that she was definitely someone's pet who dumped her. We live in the country and I have no clue how she evaded the dogs and stray cats to get here. Well we got her a 3 tier cage and an igloo to sleep in. We have some paper towels and an old tissue box. Can anyone give advice on how to make sure she stays happy and healthy. Iv never owned a rat before but have handled them. She lets me give her scratches and iv picked her up twice for a small amount of time. TIA🐀

There’s no litter box for now but I’m planing to buy one in the next few days, pee rock is already there with a tray underneath. There is also like 3 hiding house that are not visible underneath the paper.
