Question Who's your favorite character out of the main cast? Quick simple question, We're excluding Akane and Ranma, otherwise, they would take the whole poll

We know from the upcoming episode schedule that Mappa is going to make the "Akane vs. Kodachi: Cookies Battle" arc into a 2-parter episode, and since that's still a couple of weeks away (we have the Love Pills & MA Tea Ceremony episodes first), I thought it might be fun to speculate how they're going to extend this arc so much.
In the manga, this arc is only 4 chapters long, which makes Mappa's decision to turn it into a 2-parter episode very surprising, as their usual conversion ration is 3-4 chapters = 1 episode. I think it's pretty obvious we're going to see brand new sequences added as padding to justify the split - look at how the 1st Bakusai Tenketsu episode added those new sequences of Ranma vs. Kuno at Furinkan High or actually showing Akane's disastrous attempt at cooking curry. But what scenes do you think they might actually add? Do you think Mappa would go so far as to have Ukyo get involved at Furinkan High, since in their timeline, Ukyo is actually attending the school in time for this squabble and so she'd be in Home Ec with Akane?
For comparison, the old anime ran this as a single episode, giving us a longer "Akane tries to cook Ranma a new batch of cookies" sequence from chapter 1, but also cutting out the entire plot of chapter 4 and instead modifying the epilogue to instead run on from a modified version of chapter 3 (which downplayed the whole "Akane starts actively attacking Ranma because she believed Kodachi" storybeat from the manga). So maybe there's actually enough content in two chapters per episode. But... I don't know, I think they're still going to need to do a bit of padding to at least one episode if not both to make it feel like it deserves to be a two parter...
For a chapter recap of the arc... I'll try to make this as brief as possible.
1) Setup. Ranma won't eat either girls' cookies, and accidentally gets caught in a compromising situation that is captured on photo thanks to Happosai & Gosunkugi. Akane makes her second batch, but Ranma is distracted by Kodachi blackmailing him with edited photos.
2) Ranma & Akane arrive at the Kuno estate. Ranma steals the lockbox-belt containing the negatives from Midorigame, but is shocked unconscious, letting Kuno steal the belt as a "gift" from "the pigtailed girl".
3) Ranma learns hot water deactivates the trapped belt, and tricks Kuno into the bathtub to steal it. But Kodachi shows Akane a doctored photo behind his back and sends her on the warpath.
4) Kodachi blackmails Ranma into eating a feast she made in exchange for the key to release Akane from a trap she got caught in. Akane gets jealous and breaks out before storming off after a heated exchange. Ranma succumbs to slow-acting paralysis poison in the food and is spirited away to Kodachi's bedroom. But Akane lingered and, upon Kodachi confirming that the photos were doctored all along, she secretly frees Ranma by pouring hot water from a ceiling crawlspace while Ranma is trying to evade Kodachi's attempt to kiss him. A grateful Ranma escapes and finally eats her cookies as thanks. Arc ends with Ranma sick in bed.

The only videos I've ever edited before are basically my personal travel life lol. It's the first time I tried something with my favourite anime.
(I'd add the lyrics later sometime too)

Early this year, I made a pill sheet post on Ranma, and the blue pill in particular is the inspiration for this double-layered question. (Thank you to the people who participated in the pill sheet)
Which pill would you choose? : r/ranma - Pill Sheet (Archived Post)
If the 1989 anime + OVAs and movies didn't exist, would you know about Ranma before the 2024 MAPPA adaptation?
Would you be as excited as you were when the 2024 anime was announced? How different would Ranma's reception be? How popular would Ranma be if the 1989 anime didn't exist?
Lots of questions; I'm just interested in what y'all's opinion would be on Ranma in this alternate scenario.
I did not read the manga until 2022. I watched the 1989 anime last decade, so I know that, for me, I would not have known about Ranma until 2024. I did watch Inuyasha before 1989 Ranma, so I'd know about Takahashi, but that would not help me, from my POV, learn about Ranma in time.
Have fun and keep it civil!

I need help identifying the song from timestamp 20:40 on episode 58, the scene with ranma and akane talking while sitting on the porch in the garden. I have done a lot of digging and can't seem to find anything on it. I am wondering if anyone can help.
