After seeing them 10 times I think it’s a great way to celebrate 😂

Been listening to ITNR a lot recently and must say: there are a lot of solid, heavy bangers on that album.
Big production values, catchy guitar riffs, interesting rhythmic stuff, classic Homme vocal bits and lyricism…

ITNR is growing on me like Era Vulgaris did and that’s probably my favorite QOTSA album.

i cant find it anywhere

Long but really good review for the new album for anyone that may be curious about the direction they are going!

Hi, anybody have a notes sheet for avon from qosa and what synth they use?

The bar was Blue Martini in Scottsdale, Arizona. When the guitar riff started, there was enthusiasm…when the lyrics came in, there was apprehension, save for one woman celebrating her birthday who began screaming and video recording.

Hilarity ensued.

Newer to the QOTSA catalog, and surprised by how heavy some of their songs are... considering my previous limited knowledge of "the hits", which are not nearly as heavy. I always gravitate to heavier music, hardcore, metal, punk, etc. But recently QOTSA is scratching the itch in a different way. Any recommendations for heaviest songs or riffs? Thanks

For all I hate about the platform as both a consumer and creator of music, I do love a quiz.

Probably will be removed but love this song and finally at a place where I don't suck so bad that it would just be an atonal mess.

Anyway to the gatekeepers, I hope you trip on your shoelaces later on.

Did you know you can design custom QOTSA themed wrapping paper for a pretty reasonable cost? Just $10 for a 10 ft roll or $16 for a 20 ft roll. Perfecth!

I have my qosta playlist(along with a few others) all set. I’m having a full bilateral mastectomy today and when I say this music heals,I’m not exaggerating.

I’ve been battling two different cancers in the last few months and had to miss so many shows(all them witches is playing next week and it’s killing me I can’t go). I missed circle jerks, qosta, disco biscuits, etc,.I have a lot of making up shows to do.

But the excitement of new music, new record and hopefully a new tour that I can actually go to is what getting me through. Music, especially Queens, has been there with every hard time and I’m so appreciative.

Be kind to each other, cause this life goes by fast.

I have always loved QOTSA’s lyrics - they’re a big part of why they’ve been my favourite band since about 2000. One of the things I love is their clever but subtle insults (or outright I your face insults) like

Those who can’t just instruct others (I think this one tickles me particularly because there’s quite a few teachers in my family lol)
You can’t be a has-been if you never was

Any other favourites out there? Anyone managed to use them?

Is fucking perfecth for that song. The drunken swagger, the rolling drunken night, the plot twist ending, just absolute perfecthion.

That is all. Carry on

What did you found down the rabbit hole?
