Are there any trivia's organised for GOT or in general for great movies and shows like for BB, BCS or something of that sort

I am not talking about the paid ones are there genuine free trivia clubs where they organise quiz and discussions on shows

Would to be part of something that organises something

Never finished a book in my life but started some.

As the time went on in life I have realized that I prefer books over movies/ series anytime. I find movies or series usually too slow. Whenever I see series adaptation or movie adaptations of a book most of the time I see they have cut corners.

Also I can no longer tolerate the slow pace of narration in series. Books I can read quite fast ..

Does anyone here feel the same??

We are a fun football community started in Jodhpur that hosts football matches around various turfs for players and grows a fun-loving sports culture. We also organise other events like water slide football, but for now, our focus is to host regular football matches and build and settle around Pune.

After reading/ watching lot of movies/ series/ books etc. what I have figured out is I tend to more like and get interested into stories which are inherently more negative/ where main character screws up badly/ ends up on wrong side of conflicts..

For example

1. Story of Karna

2. Story of Anakin skywalker ( star wars).. Man this is just best. You can get immersed in the comics.

3. Story of Severus Snape( potter world)

Comparatively where the main characters are happy, lucky and successful in all endeavours and don't find it equally interesting. I might find it somewhat interesting but not that interesting. I might watch it one time maybe..

Thoughts about it?? Does anyone else have a similar experience.

JAILER 2 missed the southern vibe in Pune on first day first show

So I've been on/off on this subreddit and I've seen the meet-ups that happen here, but it seems a lot of them have a prerequisite to join or seem closed off. I could (and might) be wrong on my observations as well.

I recently took up the challenge to ride from Pashan (where I live) to KP and VN. That ride itself was a whole other ordeal (seriously a freaking 1 hour ride!?). I visited quite a few establishments, ranging from cafes to corner shops and even an art gallery. It was nice interacting with people in some of these places, or just getting work done there. Plus as it was a weekday, quite a few of them were empty, so I got to chat quite a bit with the owners as well.

All in, while it was a productive and fun day, it definitely took a hit on me (and my wallet). It's cool to do it again any day, but not worth the travel and time to go there.

So how does one then organically socialise with people in Pune?
