Since today is the anniversary I figured I would share. A friend of mine got this for me a while back as a birthday gift. I have never opened it and can’t see any reason why I would. Anyone else have one of these or seen one before? Is it legit? Just curious I guess.

No idea how to identify an actual script but I always assumed the vast majority of these are just photocopies

I work in the industry. This is certainly not an authentic script. The actual title page for the scripts used on set did not look like that. I don't even think writing software from the early 90s allowed images to be added to scripts. Also selling fake scripts with claims that they were actually used on sets is a pretty common scam.

Is this the screenplay for the film? Yes. Is it a production used script? Highly likely it wasn't. At minimum, the title page is not real and copied very poorly from the actual title page.

It has no creases of fold marks on the spine so was it ever opened or read...?? Hell, even if it's a replica that is pretty dam kool 🤘
