Beautiful Experince that helped me understand my mental problems

I don't see his music being talked pretty much ever when it comes to great music to trip to, and I feel like that's a shame, I wish more people would give him a shot. It's kind of akin to psychedelic rock/psychedelic jazz but with an IDM twist I guess. His stuff is very unique. I also feel like his early music is definitely more psychedelic than what he does today, but I still very much enjoy most of his output.

People usually seem to talk about psytrance, psydub, psybient and such, or psychedelic rock, or Tool, or Tipper. I don't see much else being cited behind that.

Actually Amon Tobin is kind of similar to Tipper in the sense that he's definitely part of psychedelic music but they both are closer to movements that are not usually associated with psychedelia (breakbeat, jungle, dnb, hip hop, jazz etc).

His sound design is unmatched imo and his music is incredibly immersive, surprising, hypnotic, cinematic and intricate.

I was given 3g of shrooms, I havent done these in more than half a year but I am a frequent acid tripper (usually I stick to 100ug).

What is 3g likely equivalent to in LSD micrograms? Im also curious about "soul bombing"

So first and foremost TEST YOUR SHIT. Test kits are super cheap and easy. Even though n-bombs are a lot less regular these days don't put yourself at risk for this or other garbage. You matter!

Also regular product despite what is said about it is usually between 50-75 ug.

THAT BEING SAID....... There are a few LSD test projects that people would send in their stuff to be tested and they catalogued all the various stuff.

There was some stuff coming in at 11 ug... Yes 11 ug..... Others were coming in above 200 ug.... The regular is still 50-75 ug but just be aware there can be MASSIVE variation.

A good immersive trip is like 100-150 ug although some people trip pretty hard even at 75 ug. 200-250 ug and it is INTENSEEEEE. With all of these you are high for about 12 hours so put that time away for it.

Anyway just wanted to write some basic info for newbies so they stay safe if they see this. LSD-25 can make life a lot better if used responsibly. Enjoy a chill dose and then take a month or two off. If you treat this stuff with respect you'll have a lot of fun and a lot of amazing revelations most likely!

(And make yourself a prepared fruit plate to enjoy during the trip! And during the come up have a nice perfect temperature shower. Keep lots of cool refreshing clean water around. These three things along with time in nature and star gazing with great music throughout the trip can make for astonishing levels of bliss!)

Hi I cultivated some shrooms and now I wanted to try it out, how many mg should I try without a trip sitter? I know that if you try something like 0.5/1.0 g it should be something mild, do you have any suggestions? I tried yesterday a little bite to try and after an hour I haven’t felt anything. Should I try as an infusion?

My friend down in college is trying shrooms for the first time, he said he’s got penis envy, ik those r pretty potent. He said he wants a decent trip, nothing too strong but also not too light, just enough for him to experience it without it being too much. Sorry if the question feels stupid but I’m very new to all this and genuinely considering psychedelics as a way to connect with myself better as I’m going through some difficult times and want to have answers about myself. I’m not sure what exactly is the difference between psychedelic retreat vs a guided session? On the outset, i see the guided session as a much cheaper option compared to a retreat, but before i make any decisions, i need some info. What exactly happens with the guided sessions and how does the facilitator help you? What is the process? How do you ensure that the setting is good? In a retreat, i understand we do have a group setting with the facilitator giving you a dose, doing integration and talk therapy later on, and the meals and setting is highly controlled.

I’m trying to figure out what someone put in a pipe I smoked years ago, if anyone knows or has an idea I would love to know!

I almost never smoked weed, but was visiting a friend I had not seen since we were kids, so I made an exception. We were passing a pipe of weed around, my friends mom went into another room and brought back a small box. She sat down and took out a small square piece of paper, about the size of a postage stamp (maybe a bit smaller) and placed it in the pipe and looked kind of knowingly at my friend.

Stupidly, I kept smoking it without asking what it was.

After smoking it, the table did this tetris thing where it kind of stomped itself down two cube-lengths (?) beneath me. My friend and his mom were looking at me like they knew, they didn’t seem surprised that I was having a weird experience.

I said I needed a place to lay down, and they showed me to a bed. I realized, once I lay down, that I couldn’t move. At all. And after some time, I start hallucinating black and white 1920s cartoons. I started to freak out, but remembered someone told me years ago that you can prevent a bad trip by not being afraid so I “decided” not to be scared.

The cartoon creatures were doing incredible things flipping and morphing into and through each other in an endless streaming procession in front of my open eyes. The cartoon creatures started eating each other and I began getting massive downloads of what seemed at the time to be profound spiritual revelations.

My friend came in and tried to kiss me and I still couldn’t move at all but managed to say no or indicate it somehow, and he left. I stayed frozen and staring at the procession of spirit toons for what felt like about two hours then apparently fell asleep.

Does anyone know what this could’ve been?

me and my best friend trip together a lot and she has these mushrooms that are so disgusting we both have thrown up a little while trying to swallow them. is there anyway to lessen that taste or do you just have to suck it up?

Me and my now ex just broke up, like today, I plan to trip, I am ok with us breaking up, she was being quite fucking horrible so I've accepted that I don't need her and that her leaving me was a result of her wanting to be immature and not a reflection on me, all I did wrong was ask why shes been acting weird and not speaking to me, we were very close and I loved her a lot, but she isn't who I thought she was, so I guess it was never her who I loved, should I trip or not, on one hand I understand tripping during a breakup is usually a no go, but I am not upset and I don't think I will be, we've broken up before and it was always me doing the work to fix it, so is it an issue? I feel like it would only be an issue if I wasn't ok with the breakup, but I honestly feel relieved.

I’m curious to see how you guys would rank psychedelics just on the strength of visuals, with one being the most visual and the biggest number being the least visual

For me

1) LSD
It's number one simply because the visuals and geometry stand out way more and it’s not subtle

2) shrooms
I never had major visuals; they have almost always been very subtle

3) Mescaline:
Mainly a mental and body drug not visual at all aside from color enhancement

4) Ketamine:
Not sure if this counts but it just makes my vision have low FPS

Want to try 4 HO MET so I hope the visuals are stronger than LSD. DMT is also on there and when I try it, it will definitely be a 1

There is a similar kaleidoscope effect I witness when doing the main psychedelics like LSD and Mushrooms and Peyote. I call this effect the ‘catamaran’ I’m not necessarily sure why. But I’ve always called it that. Does anyone else have a name for it like that?

okok i'll just like explain everything that i felt and stuff. my friend had given me a little vial of a yellowish substance that they said was dmt and then i got home and i started with a relatively small bowl of weed topped with the "dmt" and not too much i don't think but not like too little i just kinda poured it from a vial and it was yellowish and then i looked at the wall while holding it in my lungs and for some reason this part of the wall is ALWAYS kinda green and the rest of the room kind slowly but quickly turned green and then like turned a bunch of random colors rapidly while i was walking around the room kinda moving my head weird and checking my phone rlly often to see if my girlfriend texted and then eventually it calmed down and i also had this rlly nice warm feeling in my body and then i felt rlly dehydrated and i went to leave the room to grab milk and the room i was in had a baby gate but the baby gate looked like a lego gate and then i walked through the rest of my house and it was all kind of like a modernized lego brick house and then my fridge was also lego including the inside and the jug of milk and then i went back an forth throughout the house between the kitchen and my room and felt like i was in a loop because everytime i would make it back to the room i would check my phone to see if my girlfriend texted and she hadn't texted yet and also idk it was kinda scary at some points and i also felt like RLLY stupid and i had looked into a mirror on accident at one point but it didn't show anything scary or nothing but my pupils were like HUGE and it was crazy and then i like ran away from the mirror and my phone had always been like RLLY big and the letters were like moving a little and like bigger and smaller and it was weird and then i started laying down and my blinds were kind of like morphing but not and the walls were kind of moving and then i felt kind off after that for a little and then it all ended

I am here to ask about your experiences with LSD and 2CB.
As an experienced psychonaut i tripped on both substances pretty often.
My question is, how are your experiences and believes about the synergy and crosstolerance between both substances.

When i was in holidays im the summer i took on evening about 40mg 2CB over the evening, splittet im two pills. Was drinking some beers to it, had a great time.

Im the end of the holidays, i think it was 3 days later, i took a of LSD, about 180ug. It worked totally and i wondered if it didn’t had a crosstolerance at all. After 7 hours i took on 2CB pill while i was still tripping a little bit on the LSD and i had a blast. On of the most exciting and beatiful trips i ever had. It was a pretty strong synergy as i experienced it.

Some months later, again in holidays, i was taking a LSD tab, about 200ug and had a great trip again.
BUT THEN when i was taking a 2CB pill the next day, about 24h later then the LSD tab, and the pill almost didn’t work at all. I was even feeling like a littlte bit shy, no visuals, no giggles, no euphoria, just a feeling of beeing little bit unsafe in my mind. My girl tripped both days with me, and she didn’t felt the 2CB at all.

How comes that the 2CB while still tripping on LSD is giving a blast, but taking a day after a trip it’s not working at all. And how comes that LSD seems to give a crosstolerance to 2CB, but on the other side, LSD works pretty well after 2CB, so it seems like the crosstolerance is working one sided.

I’m curious to hear about your experiences and ideas about those topic. I want to trip with my girl again on mew years evening, so i don’t want to fuck it up, by making a crosstolerance. We planned to take both.

Hey everyone, looking for some advice from people who have experience with mushrooms.
I’m heading to see Tame Impala at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and considering taking around 5g of dried magic mushrooms. I’ve had a fair few experiences with mushrooms before, including doses around 3–5g, but I’ve never taken them at a concert like this.
A few questions for people with experience:
Is 5g all at once particularly risky, or is there a reason to avoid taking that much?
Is redosing later on a bad idea?
Should I eat beforehand? Would a peanut butter sandwich be alright?
How long do the effects generally last, and how predictable is the timing?
What should I be aware of with the crowds, visuals, lights and sound at a big concert?
I’m not completely new to mushrooms, just trying to get some informed perspectives before making a decision. Keen to hear people’s experiences and harm-reduction advice. Cheers!
