any hard vocab or math questions on psat?
how were the vocab words (if u remember any) and the math questions at end of mod 2?

my state's index is usually a 219. i think i got 3 wrong on both english and math module 2, but none on any module 1. All were prob hard ones, maybe one medium difficulty at worst. just wondering if merit is even a possibility or if i should just stop thinking about it
i don't know how the curves work 100% (i'm sure nobody does) so i'm just asking for advice from people who know it better.

so im taking the psat/nmsqt tomorrow and i took a practice test and i got a 1330. im a bit concerned that the actual test is gonna be much harder because i took the psat 10 back in spring (i believe??) and i remember it being a lot more difficult. i havent done any standardized testing prep at all, and when i did this practice test just now, i felt like it was much easier (despite the substantial amount of questions i got wrong)
i dont expect to get national merit or anything, but id just like to be as knowledgeable as possible cuz i dont like not knowing things if that makes sense
id like to hear anyones input on this

PSAT in 7 days. How many questions in each module, how much time, and what are some questions/vocab to look out for? I've gotten 1530(750 RW, 780 Math) on Practice SAT test 8 recently.

i forgot to put in location data and opted out of sending info. i also gave my moms phone number instead of mine. am i screwed or am i okay?

Idk I am a sophomore and got a 1550 on the sat and this one question seemed definitively harder than a very hard SAT question.

Okay, the mod1 for math was an absolute breeze and I was very very confident, so I was expecting challenging stuff come mod2. But I felt like 90% of it was extremely easy as well. Not much trig or geometry, mainly basic algebra concepts. There were a couple tricky ones that I didn't get but I'm SO concerned. Did anybody else feel like this >.>

Hi guys do you know if the psat score is curved and what the cutoff is for Michigan and Minnesota

I have access to TestNinja through a tuition I went to for SAT and I have access to all the R&W and math modules in there. But I also have bluebook too. So which should i focus on more to ace the PSAT? Or which is more similar?

module 1 reading: 26/27
module 2 reading: 23/27
module 1 math: 18/22
module 2 math: 17-18/22
im being pretty conservative but yeah thats about it. module 2 math was actually hell and module 2 reading was also very tricky
I got a 1210 on my one from last year so i just wanna go up a bit (hoping for a 1300 bc i wanna prepare more for the sat)
title says enough. I really need advice on improving my score. I'm doing kinda well on reading and writing, at least enough to unlock the hard module 2 but im struggling with the harder reading and writing questions. im totally lost on math, i only get scores in the 400s on the bluebook practice tests..
is it worth it to go all in on reading and writing for national merit? ik reading and writing is worth more on the selection index. my state is moderately competitive (~214 SI from the class of 2027, according to compass prep).

My predictions:
Mod 1 Eng - 27/27
Mod 2 Eng - 24-25/27
Mod 1 Math - 22/22
Mod 2 Math - 20/22
What’s my predicted score guys?

i don't think i did that well but i'm hoping for commended at least but i think my state is rlly competitive
rw mod 1: 24-27/27
rw mod 2: 20-23/27
math mod 1: 22/22
math mod 2: 19-21/22
can someone give me a rough estimate of my score range?

I hope I don't jinx myself...
R&W:
Module 1: 27/27
Module 2: 23-25/27
Math:
Module 1: 22/22
Module 2: 21/22
My state always has a high index, so I'm guessing 221-225. Also the curve is rlly weird bc I got 1 wrong on a practice test and got 1500 so I'd like to know more abt that.

i'm currently scoring around consistent 650-700s on sat reading and 700-750 on sat math practice tests. if i grind my ass off this next week, would a 216 index be possible (1470+)? also what exactly should i do to study? i just thought of going through the bluebook question bank, taking practice tests, and reviewing my mistakes.
also are the vocab questions hard on the psat? thanks!

Rw:
Module 1:26-27/27
Module 2: 18-20/27
Math:
Module 1: 22/22
Module 2: 20-22/22
Score prediction?
Vocab part was kinda hard on module 2 and I ran out of time grammar is slight as long as yk how to answer fast reading comprehension takes so long I had to skip some of them only did function main idea and inference no multi texts I guessed b and c on those
Math was easy especially module 1 I finished 12 min early I think module 2 had 2 hard questions like equalterial triangle inside circle question I js guessed that one other than that it was chill but focus on English and try to make sure u can get grammar out the way fast so you have more time to solve everything else

Also AMA if you'd like!!!!
I've never taken a PSAT/SAT assessment before, so I was wondering: will I get an email, or do I have to check manually? Do scores come out at 12 a.m., or are they released sometime during the day?

E1: 27/27
E2: 20-27/27---> Confident on 1-5, Confident on 17-27, Unsure abt the questions 5-10 and 11-13 (Overall, estimated 4-6 Wrong)
M1: 22/22
M2: 22/22 --> Sure abt 760 Math
I need around a 221 Index in my state, can anyone tell me if I made it?

I take the PSAT-NMSQT on October 28th, and in my state the score for NMSQT is a 222. On PSAT-NMSQT Practice test 1, I got a 700 reading 730 math, getting me an index score of 213. I have about 2 weeks to study, how should I maximize my time to get myself an index of 222 or above. Btw my weakest reading area was Information and Ideas.

I got a 1440 on psat practice 1 (760m/680rw) and today I stupidly took practice 3 and got a 1400( 710m/690rw) this killed my confidence and now Im scared im aiming for commended so am I cooked practice test 3 is 100x harder than 1. Predict my score and if you took the psat before what was ur practice score and what’d u end up getting I have psat tmw so wish me luck!! (Please respond before then to ease my comfort;)

I got an 800 (400 on math & reading) on my psat as a sophmore and tmr is my junior psat and I'm screwed I studied but I know im gonna do horrible because I get bad scores and I dont even know half the things Im trying to learn like basic algebra and its 9pm so idk whether just to accept defeat or learn some quick last minute desmos hacks for math portion Im just scared of being a failure always no matter how hard I try.
