SPECIFIC ADVICE Help my bamboo that doesn't deserve the help

This is my depressing lucky bamboo. As you can guess from the pot size, it was originally like 12+ stalks. I've had this thing maybe a year? I've nearly thrown it in the trash a few times. It was a clearance buy and I wasn't prepared for the sheer trauma this thing was about to put me through.

It was fine for months now. It finally calmed. Finally listened. Now it's randomly pulling this shit again. How do I prop this stupid thing? Do I even want to? If the stalk is yellow, it's already screwed, so what do I even do now? After this it'll be two stalks left out of 16 or so.
