Started a new run, six days into it.

Got a scratch from a zombie because I forgot to remind myself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.

I was hoping to get away with it, but unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky.

This is not really about the game itself, and more about the idea of surviving a zombie apocalypse at all. At what point would you say you've "survived" the apocalypse itself. Being that we're humans, we will all die eventually, but in an apocalyptic survival scenario things are a little different. For me, I would say i've "survived" if I manage to make it ten years. Maybe it's not a timing thing, maybe its surviving until some semblance of a survivor's society can persist? (a la TLOU) or some other personal goal. Curious about your thoughts!

Alright, some facts.

• South of Rosewood, less than a week in.
• Power is STILL ON.
• Outdoor temperature is 22.0C
• All 5 numbered rooms are roofed
• All external doors are built, internal doors are not built.
• No generators yet.

Room 1:

Kitchen, no power. Temperature of 22.7C. Lights installed here cannot turn on. Fridges do not work here, stoves cannot be turned on.

Room 2:

Storeroom, no power (I'm guessing as nothing that requires power is installed here). Temperature of 22.7C. Nothing is installed here.

Room 3:

Armory, no power. Temperature of 22.7C. Lights installed here cannot turn on.

Room 4:

Bedroom, powered. Temperature is 22.0C. Lights installed here turn on.

Room 5:

Living room, powered. Temperature is 22.0C. Lights installed here turns on.

Can anyone figure out why rooms 1,2,3 are unpowered?

Ive got the delorean vehicle mod in my current game save, but i cant find the delorean anywhere. Ive explored some areas that I haven't explored before to make sure, but still no deloreans. Ive had the mod enabled since the beginning of my world. Ive found other Ki5 vehicles like the 1992 jeep wrangler. Im on b42 stable, ive got the 'enable preset delorean spawns' sandbox setting or whatever it's called enabled.

I'm having a problem where I'm not seeing my usual standard mods in my viewpoint game save. For example, the various K15 cars, the dog mod, or even just the clean hot bar one. Is it something to do with how I order my mods? All of them are green the way that they are now. Can somebody help? Thanks!

Got munched on right after the helicopter event, day 6, panicked and got bitten, immediately gave in to the 3 around me.

I’ve been playing / watching project zomboid content since forever but have never seen people from the GCC (Kuwait, Oman, UAE, Saudi , Bahrain, Qatar) that play the game , stream it or even create content for it.

Considering that PZ is kind of a niche game I’ve just been wondering if you guys exist!

I have been trying to find a way to turn off this overlay I just dont know what it is. I installed a mod called PZ Optimization but I uninstalled the mod and reinstalled it and saw no change.

Found this real nice military vehicle on my CDDA run but no keys in sight and the door is locked. Checked the garage it was parked in front of and I’ve looted every zombie I’ve killed and still no keys.

Would have to break the window if I wanted to Hotwire it (even if I had the means to do so) and wanna know if it’s worth breaking the window to look inside and the keys are a lost cause or if I should hold off.

Hi my friend play on the latest os on his Mac (I mentioned it because I read that an update was suppose to fix the issue) and when we start the game on his laptop we hear the sound of the menu and sometime have the in game mouse pointer but no image whatsoever and no way to actually see the game (even if alt tab and all)
