I think I had 25+ years of varying levels of gambling addiction - just pure negative impact, more than a dollar count.

And I’m doing great, 2 months in, thank you. Every day is reassuring because I have more disposable money - felt after only a week or two.

I have a little more frequent urges to gamble in my second month than I did in my first, not sure why, but manageable because I’m not living in secrets.

What saves my bacon is accountability by checking in with my GA people (here too - except there is no accountability on reddit) … GA people have years not gambling and great lives. I control my attitude, make it positive and am already reaping a solid return.

Bigger picture is me knowing I can’t chase my losses because there is nothing there. Money lost is money gone - any chasing is simply more gambling. Getting very comfortable digesting that.

Please stick around - hope you didn’t gamble today.
