Its someone like you i wish i would have worked for when i did pressure washing. I might even still be doing it if i did.

It's a shame you're not still doing it! I absolutely adore this job.. 98% of the time anyway!

I'm trying to find someone to work with me know and it's a pain to find someone who will have the same pride in the work that I do!

Was the first time ever in 30+ years of working i had a boss tell me i was doing too good a job, and it was a negative. To him, since i did a perfect job every time, it meant there were corners i could cut to go quicker. I was the only crew that never had to do any rework, in 2 years there. Still blows my mind he had the balls to say that.

That's absolutely mental. I went back to this property yesterday as I wasn't happy with 2 of the windowsills I cleaned. Client was happy but I wasn't.

If you're not doing 100% of the job every time then there's no point in doing it in my opinion!

That should've been the point you setup on your own! Could've sunk his business with that attitude!

I always worry about the runoff when chemical cleaning agents are used. Do they degrade fairly quickly so are safe to just be washed off on to soil etc?

So this is sodium hypochlorite, chlorine bleach essentially. Runoff for this one was onto gravel so not an issue.

But, as long as you wet everything down and flush through with clean water before/after it's not a problem. Breaks down into salt and oxygen

πŸ˜‚ being British I owe it to the country to make a cup of tea with it at some point.

I was going to ask if you used chemicals but I got my answer. I can tell you really enjoy your job. Cheers mate.

Do you no longer post on YouTube?

I don't, I spent far too much time editing and the camera setup was eating into my actual work time. I just make little shorts and reels now as I can whip my phone out to record and just edit on my phone.

So you use a waterfed pole that has both SH and your soap mixed in?

3

u/Fastpotato 3d ago

Yeah that's it, it's just a battery operated pump sprayer adapted to fit a watered pole. I used the pole since I had a ton of windowsills to clean too.

Too much talking, and not enough power washing

Fair comment, I spend ages answering all the questions in the comments normally so I thought I'd save some time on this post

Bah, don't listen to them. The added context is great.

Hardly an ad just because I have my logo at the end of the video.

That is literally the definition of an ad.
