Portrait of my “self” made using a canon f1, same same but different 400, 50mm f/1.4 at 5.6. I set the framing and settings and my wife helped me by pressing the shutter and checking focus. Team work = dream work.

This image is another piece from a large body of work titled ‘Censorship’, which aims to protest the constant censorship of nude art I face on social media.

The concept was inspired by the fact that breasts can be shown entirely and freely as long as the woman wears a bra or a bikini top covering her nipples.

At the same time, male nipples are widely accepted and need not be hidden.

I covered my body and my nipples in black paint while leaving my breasts bare, as an act of protest against norms that vary so drastically between men and women.
