In my 40s and they remind me of me and my spouse (together 22 years, married 16). They feel so genuinely and positively married, in the finishing each other's sentences and genuinely loving each other's company sense (and not in the tedious pointless bickering sense that makes people go 'lol old marrieds').

You're very right about that. Like most people, I love couples who are in love. It's such a beautiful, uplifting sight, and much needed, especially now with how horrible everything in the world is. Even Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau, two people I'm completely indifferent to separately, but really like as a couple, because they look so in love.

It worked out, but the combination of dating someone you have to do press tours with and having an expressive face really exposed her. Even when they were allegedly about to break up, you could see it in the interviews they had to do together.

No, it's not just you being old. A lot of Gen Z actually agrees with you that the celebrities of the past are far more attractive on average than the ones today.
I've actually seen numerous posts form Gen Z kids on TikTok (as well as Instagram and Twitter) and people have been complaining about how a lot of the lead actors in TV shows and movies aren't as hot as the the ones from the 2000s and 1990s and some people have been theorizing that it's because the majority of new generation celebs are literally just a bunch of nepo babies. Agents aren't bothering to scout random people who hit the genetic lottery out on the streets anymore.
And unfortunately, these nepotism babies are not inheriting the sex appeal / charisma / attractiveness that their parents have.
I'm a Gen Z kid myself and I also have a hard time seeing any of the celebrities that are in my age range as attractive :/

Oh yes, I wanted to mention the cosmetic surgery as well but my comment was getting too long. Gen Z has definitely mentioned how its hard to feel attracted to anyone on TV anymore because of all the veneers and botox that everybody's getting. It makes everyone look like the fake robot Santa clause from The Santa Clause 2 movie lol
