Looking for a concert buddy to join me for the show in Switzerland (ZH) on Nov 18th [BE NOT AFRAID World Tour]

Hey I have an extra seated ticket. I got ghosted by my initial buddy and don't really have anyone else in my immediate circle who listens to Polyphia. But I would also like to use this opportunity to potentially make a new longterm friend šŸ™Œ

A bit about me:
• 32F into art, practicing acoustic guitar, YouTube vlogs, travelling, discovering new places and trying new foods - let’s talk and find out more ā˜ŗļø
• I actually listen to almost everything from mostly pop, rnb, kpop to rock šŸŽ¶

If you're looking for a concert buddy and a new friend, shoot me a DM with a bit about yourself and your favorite Polyphia song! šŸŽø

Am I the only one who actually liked this song?

I’ve heard so much mixed to negative things about this song. But I didn’t mind it. I love the chaotic energy and I’m excited for the album. What do you think?

Will Polyphia win best instrumental composition/arrangement Grammy Awards?

I find it funny those are the awards they want us to vote for lol.

I’ll be honest, there’s some interesting parts in the songs, especially when you see unplugged covers, but the clipping mix isn’t it.

Who’s going to Zurich?

Hey y’all

Wondering if anyone wants to team up to go to the show in Zurich? Keen for some Mosh Pit action, some some tea beforehand or some drinks afterwards or whatever.

Happy to get a group together :)

I’m a 25 year old man. Into all kinds of arts and music and generally pretty chill. My friends aren’t into prog metal so here we are!

Looking forward to the new album and pms are open šŸ™‚ā€ā†•ļø

Anyone who's watched AskTim 10/11/26, can you let us know if the criticism was addressed?

Anything at all that he may have commented on regarding the "bots" reaction to the songs so far? Cheers guys!

Band's new sound sucks but at least they didn't sell out.

I have spoken.

The criticisms of the sound have been super valid, but I think it's more commendable for an artist to put effort and heart into projects that they believe in and personally care about than appeal to their audience.

I'd have actually been upset if they sold out.

Looking for unreleased riffs (+ YT membership question)

Tim mentioned in his Music Zoo interview that he'd take down the "Never Coming Out" compilation of the unreleased RTYWD riffs by XYZ, and the deluxe EP video has been gone ever since.

Does anyone still have a download of the video, or could XYZ (who posted on this sub, but whose account got deleted?) share a file for the deluxe EP in the comments below?

Also, are any of the unreleased riffs under Tim's YT membership worth checking out? I have a YT offer for a free month of membership.

Many thanks.

Tuning for with eyes to see??

I'm new to 7-string guitars and I saw Scottie's POV video with his 7-string signature, but I couldn't figure out the tuning.

Does anyone know the tuning for this?

Edit- already figured out

It Is D standard with the 7th string in G Like a 7string drop G

Fan base Rant

I’ve seen so much negative talk about this new album release and just… my goodness ya’ll. I’m so sick of this echo chamber of would-be audio engineers who think they know what music is ā€œsupposed toā€ sound like. IT’S ART. THERE’S NO RIGHT OR WRONG HERE.

ā€œbUt ThEy’Re CLipPiNG tHE aUdIoā€

Duh. Yes. Do you think they don’t know that? It’s an artistic choice. And they like it. And it’s their music. Stfu.

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

*edit for clarity because apparently ya’ll need it*

I don’t love the new music so far. It’s fine. And I don’t care if you like it, it’s totally valid if it’s not your thing. I’m just sick of the mentality many of this fanbase have. Everyone’s a critic as if they have a better understanding of music as a concept than the band does… tbh it’s pretty pathetic.
